I did mostly MG and PG stuff...I did have few HGUC models of certain mechs...then my kids started jacking with them and I realized I would go to jail if I didnt find a hobby they didnt care about...lol

I used to build and paint gundam models a few years back..like the $150-200 models...detail paint, dry brushing, water slide decals...the whole nine yards...dont have pics anymore but they were some cool little models..

I dont OC except for the range, but one could argue that a bad guy seeing someone OC'ing may find that to be a deterrent as well...

I'm gonna hold off for a bit and try to do a little more research on these things...I fondled and worked the action on several CIAs, Zastavas, and WASRs....for the prices I saw I just didnt feel confident paying the asking price on those rifles...if they were a little cheaper in price I would have no reservations.... I guess the Arsenal will have to do for now, hopefully I will be able to find a sub $500 WASR in the next few months...

I have all my glock, AR, & AK mags loaded...the remaining ammo is all loose in labeled 50cal cans except for one box of 7.62 that I need to get a can for....I like the idea of grabbing ammo cans on the go if needed than having to worry about grabbing and dropping a bunch of small boxes...

I'll go out next time looking for something completely different and bring home the AK....

went out in search of an AK today...fondled several and could settle on one....got this little guy instead...

OS, I did see that post. I spent a little time in between at work yesterday perusing info AK related trying to make heads or tails of a milled or stamped receiver, straight or slant cut back receiver, etc....I already have an Arsenal, but in all honesty that rifle was purchased because of brand recognition more than knowledge of the AK platforn itself... I did give the WASRs quite the look yesterday and will probably end up with one in the end...

ok...I am not a gun snob by any means...just looking for a good AK I can beat up on...my wife wont let me shoot the Arsenal... (I know, I have to give up my man card)...

so is there like a wiki for AKs?  I thought WASRs were supposed to not be all that great, I am guessing I am mistaken...I am a grasshopper that needs schooling...I am not looking to join the red army with this rifle, just be able to shoot a great, reliable gun for a decent price...

So I am looking for another AK and spotted this on Bud's:   http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_756/products_id/75808?sort=high   I have heard some things about Century having some issues awhile back, but that they've had some changes in staffing in the last few years that have led to better quality QA.  I saw this was a milled receiver and figured maybe it would be a good deal for the money??  Any AK "experts" have an opinion??  Any better ideas??  Looking to spend no more than about 750-800 max...Thanks folks....
