  1. Try a Sig P220, one of the best and most accurate 45 acp's.
  2. My 9 Shield is very good as is.I did put an Apex kit in my 45 Compact.
  3. I have 4 M&P's (3 9mm's/45 ACP compact)and only one Glock 23 Gen4 RTF2 40 SW/357 Sig. I was heavy on Glocks 9mm-45 ACP, but the M&P's have a better feel and handle/shoot just as fast as the Glock. Time will tale on durability, but so far no problems.
  4. I'll listen the next time. I was in Murfreesboro so I drove to Dickson. The show sucked and air conditioning was none existent. Two-three dealers and the rest was junk.
  5. I didn't make it to Nashville last week. Is the Dickson show worth driving to? I'm in need of some reloading supplies.
  6. I've not been to a gunshow in a while. Is this one worth going to? It's a 70 mile drive oneway for me.
  7. DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE SOME NIGHT SIGHTS ON A SHIELD?
  8. What night sights are available for the Shield? I like TruGlo on other M&P's and Glocks, but I am unsure if they are available for Shield. I have seen XS big dot front sight with line rear sight offered. What type night sights do you have?
  9. I use 41.3g of IMR4895 with a 168g SMK hp, around 2470 fps. I'm having problems on finding IMR4895. Others have suggested using Varget powder.
  10. I have the PM9 and the bigger CW45. Both are great shooters and carry weapons.
  11. Will Sam have any IMR4895? I'm needing about 3 lbs.
  12. This is first Murfreesboro show this year. A total of four are scheduled. See ya there. I hope David brings some reloading supplies to show.
  13. I like both the Glock 19 and M&P9. The M&P9 has the best feel, shoots great and is very accurate. That's my choice.
  14. Parking + admission at $5 + $8 is too high and not really a good show. I'll wait for Murfreesboro show May 18-19. Maybe David will be there at Murfreesboro.

    Ruger SR22

I just bought this 22 w/3.5" barrel. Very accurate at 10 ft and no miss-feed, miss-fires, etc in 50 rds. Single action pull is acceptable, but double action is very, very hard, maybe 12-15 lbs. I wonder if there is a spring kit for mainspring replacement yet? Gun has safety, hammer drop and magazine disconnector. Parts list for a small gun is significant. Any suggestions on reducing double action pull?
  16. Bought some 308 LC ofb and traded a SW22 for a Ruger SS/Wood 1022. Sold Ruger before getting out door.
  17. I went yesterday, not real bad for a small show. There was a couple of tables with reloading supplies: primers, brass, powder. They didn't have IMR4895 that I needed. Maybe 3 dealers with handguns and AR's, prices were decent. Quite a few tables with personal guns, not alot of guns on their tables. $8 to get in out of the rain.
  18. I went and it was okay, not many guns on tables. A typical small show. I did do well trading with other walk-arounds. I may carry a Ruger Super Redhawk 9.5" barrel 44 mag. with rings/box and a Leupold 2x scope, etc for possible trade material.

    Looking for a .308

I have the FNAR 308 in 20" HB and very satisfied. 5/8" group at 100yds, best 3 shoots out of 5 using 168g SMKHP bullets and IMR4895: AVG 5 shoot groups 1.69" and average 3 shoot groups 0.84".
  20. If the safety on and cocked and locked bothers some, consider the Kahr 380 or Kahr CM9 or PM9. No safety but a longer and smooth trigger pull. LOL.
  21. Don't waste your time, for I did. I did find/buy a FNAR308 20rd mag.
  22. I talked to  promoter and he said still on and about 150 tables. After reading porkchop's response, I don't think I want to drive an hour one-way to check it out. I have some 308 ammo, I wanted to sale, but probably not worth the drive.
  23. I noticed this listed in Gun shows today. Has anyone been to a show at Dickson Co. Fairgrounds? I was thinking about checking it out on Saturday morning.
