  1. You're married to Xenia Onatopp?!?!?!?!
  2. It's for breaking glass to either get to a person in a locked car, or to break the glass from the inside of a submerged car.
  3. I did some hunting around on that, and couldn't find it repeated. I did find where several states have protective measures that exceed standard animal cruelty charges, but I didn't read real deep into each one's. I did see that it's a automatic 3rd degree felony in Texas. Either way, whether karma or justice, I hope the a-hole lands in his proverbial (or literal, for that matter) ditch someday soon.
  4. Why do I have an image of Danny McBride blasting rounds down range in my head?
  5. I did some reading on just that a while back... I could be wrong as I'm going off memory, but I believe killing a LE service animal is a felony w/ a 10yr sentence...
  6. If somebody came after one of my pooches, I'd take it no less than if someone had come after a human member of my family. Hope they find this dirty MFer...

IMHO, yes. I'd put LMT, Daniel Defense, and BCM on par with Colt as well. I think the M&P is a fantastic value, but just *slightly* under the quality you'd receive from Colt, DD, or LMT. Lots of manufacturers really throw around the term "Mil-Spec". They selectively apply it to suit themselves. Example: Manufacturer X may claim their rifle is Mil-Spec solely based upon the type of barrel steel they used.

CMMG is a good choice to find the common ground between price and performance. Honestly, with the market flooded with Colts and Daniel Defense in the 1k range, I'd save a few extra bills and score one of those.
  9. Complete as in mailed off, or complete as in they've mailed the tax stamp to you and it's in your possession? If it's the first, I'd keep that barrel far away from your rifle until you get that stamp unless you have a pistol lower in your possession. If it's the second, and your engraving is done, you're good to go
  10. I think Vandy is currently running about 25k a year, so consider that. Also, THIS. Very much so this.
  11. If you're thinking Nuclear Med, I'd check out some of the Voc-Tech schools around Nashville. I don't know what each offer, but there are several state and private ones around town. As far as a 4yr in Nursing, I'd checkout Aquinas as well as MTSU, TSU, and Vandy. While I can't absolutely verify it, I'd imagine their nursing programs would rank as such: 1) Vandy 2) Aquinas 3) MTSU 4) TSU I would imagine the cost of each would be in the same order, albeit MTSU and TSU should be the same.
  12. Wiki: Dude, if you had one of those, you'd be the King of Cool, and Miles Davis wouldn't have anything to say about it I've been using one in the game some, but I had NO idea of the rarity and what they commanded on the open market!
  13. Really?! That sucks... If I was to buy a 3rd TV I'd probably be looking for another Olevia:(
  14. Yeah, credit transfers a lot easier these days, especially within TBOR schools (TN Board of Regents). So if you get an associates at NSCC, 99% of your credits will transfer to TSU or MTSU, but keep in mind since Vandy is private, they will probably be extremely selective with what credits they will allow to transfer.
  15. I've got 2 Olevias, a 26" and a 42", and yeah they're AWESOME TVs, especially for the money. I have a buddy who bought one of Vizio's 720p LCD TVs about 2 years ago, and it's got a good picture for the price, and hasn't given him a bit of a problem. I believe his was actually a refurb from Tiger Direct, which is a great source for both new and refurb HD TVs.
  16. This is going on the M11, isn't it? Sigh... I hate you.
  17. Do you have a specific field and/or major in mind?
  18. Nashville Tech and Nashville State Community College are actually the same school. Nashville Tech was it's old name, and most long time Nashville residents still refer to it as such. Next door to NSCC's campus is TN Technology Center which is a local state funded Voc-Tech school, but that doesn't sound like what you're looking for. Depending on what you want to do, they have bridge programs to NSCC though.
  19. Sounds like a deal! FWIW, I was searching around last night, and Bud's has a used SSP for sale for $699, but the pic they are showing is of one of Steyr's M model pistols. Seems like a decent deal though.
  20. Where's my ACR?
  21. Dude, you should totally add the words "One Mag At A Time" in smaller letters underneath "CHANGE".
  22. Where is Pun anywho? Working OT to pay off the Serbian cleaners that got rid of bklem's body after "the incident"?
  23. That'd be so money it wouldn't even now how money it is.
  24. Dude... I hate you. I have yet to lay my hands on one, but I've heard that (like you said), they aren't heavy as they look, and also that they are slimmer and handle a lot better than they look. Nice score, JHat! ETA: Anyone in the know know the reason they serialized the upper instead of the lower?
  25. The semi TMP was called the SSP, and I don't think it's being imported anymore. Steyr did license the design to Bruger & Thomet and they import it as the B&T TP9. The SSP didn't have a foregrip, but with the TP9, you could add one (if you were to SBR it, obviously ) as it has a rail. You might have already known all this, I just thought I'd pass it on for anyone interested... I've been wanting one for a while!
