  1. Punk?
  2. Pics or it didn't happen. I kid, I kid. Nice to see our guys taking out the trash
  3. Firstly, is the XD being made in the US now? Second, I don't think I see NATO going .45. I could definitely see some Spec Ops units possibly adopting it, but seriously doubt you'll see the entirety of the US military adopting it, or anything in .45 for that matter.

    Halo: ODST

I just watched the live-action trailer for ODST, looks like Bungie really dropped some coin on it. I loved Halo 1&2, but 3 really didn't do much for me. I'm hoping ODST puts the series back on track. Anybody else planning on picking it up?
  5. I would shoot an SKS before buying one if I were you. Few are indifferent to them, it's kind of a love'em or hate'em kind of thing.
  6. You know, I bet a pole saw could do some impressive damage to zombie hordes.

I've always liked the VF500 and VF750 Interceptors. I've seen a few that have ditched the fairing and gone naked w/ a single round headlamp, and I think they look AWESOME like that.
  8. For what you're describing, I think an AK fits the bill perfectly. I wouldn't discredit a lever action rifle either. While an SKS would save you some scratch, I'd pull together a few extra hundred (probably about $200) and get yourself an AK.
  9. I think Larue Tactical was selling what they were calling the "Po' Boy Magnifier" (and their sweet ass QD mount for it), but I'm too lazy to find you a link
  10. Don't Bushmaster's come w/ commercial spec. buffer tubes? I'm willing to bet the UBR is only shipping for Mil-Spec buffer tubes (but could be wrong, it's happened at least twice before). Anywho, slap a Mil-Spec buffer tube on your Bushy, and it shouldn't be a problem.
  11. No ****?! Hats off to the guys at Charles Daly. What's the projected price point?
  12. Talk to Phil @ Goodletsville Gun Shop. He can fill you in AND hook you up.
  13. I've heard some chatter about some problems here and there too. I think JHat had a few problems w/ his when he first got it, not sure if they're cleared up or not. Then, there's also this: SIG SAUER : Product Alerts
  14. Haha, when I was going to school in Knoxville, Sprite set up a booth to give away it's new flavor "Sprite Re-mix". I picked one up and continued on my way to class. I took a swig and was rounding the corner just as the "Holy @*, who would drink this?!?!" thought was registering in my head... than I saw it. A retaining wall w/ approximately 75 bottles of Sprite Re-mix, all missing approximately one sip. Apparently I wasn't the only one whose taste buds were offended.
  15. I just throw the whole box in there, and leave them in there until I eventually eat them all. They never actually freeze solid, so there good to go for long term freezer storage
  16. I'm telling ya, trip... the freezer is the new toaster
  17. Shut your mouth! It's all about Ice Cream Sundae Pop-Tarts are where it's at. Put 'em in the freezer, they taste almost like they're filled w/ real ice cream.
  18. Except it'll have dent-resistant doors.

+1 on the SV. ANY generation. I cut my teeth on a Ninja 250R and really loved that bike. I sold it and bought a 2002 SV650, and found out what love really was
  20. You know, I've met a few "DBs" before
  21. What is this "google" you speak of?
  22. Just watched it. Can't wait for next week... the war is on.
