  1. Poor grammar, poor firearm handling etiquette, or both?
  2. Awesome, I havent caught that show yet. I know they've got some pretty awesome shoot houses built out of shipping containers out there. Check 'em out:
  3. Present your truther evidence and we'll debunk it piece by piece. The guys who produced Loose Change are absolute morons. The problem w/ a conspiracy theory like this is that it means everyone involved has to be able to keep the secret. People can't keep secrets. Look at Clinton's affair. That secret involved TWO people, and it couldn't be kept.
  4. Check out their uppers while you're there, Chuck. They're top notch
  5. I really like how they did the screen printing over the MOLLE. Plus, there are extra trauma plates sewn into the back pad so you don't have to worry about .338 Lapau. Dammit. Mike is always the first guy to do the cool stuff in this group... tell me he doesn't have the dolphin one too!
  6. I played "Red Steel" (I think thats what it was called...) for the Wii when it first came out. Wasn't a completely spectacular game, but it was awesome to be able to point and shoot for the first time since "Lethal Enforcers" on my Sega CD I'd be really interested to see what the gameplay is like on a COD port.
  7. Personally, I say 360. It may not be as much of a graphics powerhouse, but for multiple platform releases, that hardly matters. XBOX Live is worth the $50/yr. Also, ergonomically speaking, the 360 controller is light years ahead of the PS3's.
  8. G&R Tactical put together a nice LPK. That said, I used a DPMS LPK, and I've never had any issues. Also, keep in mind that with the waning market, you can pick up a fully assembled rifle from Colt, Daniel Defense, or LMT for a very good price right now.
  9. Finezza @ 5404 Harding has a great date atmosphere and is relatively reasonably priced. It may not be a steakhouse, but it's traditional Italian, and FRESH! The "Tuscany Filet" is hard to beat. A snippet of the steaks they offer: You can find more info and their entire menu here: Finezza Italian Bistro
  10. Agreed, don't always grow up to be the same person they were as a child. I'd be willing to bet no one on this board is the same person they were at 15. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to how tattoos, whether full-sleeve or not, effect the moral compass of a person (LEO or not).
  11. Yeah, thay guy "Gordo" is apparently looked upon as a joke by the police. I hear he's just a big talker. Remember when he was talking about his choice weapon? Gordo: "Glock forty." Then asked why he likes it Gordo: "Cause it's big, it's just big." WTF? Also, remember how he served a year after being pulled over and found with firearms, a large amount of marijuana, baggies, scales, and materials they thought were to be used for a kidnapping? My guess on the short sentence would be he started singing like a bird once the cuffs went on.
  12. Obviously, he already has them
  13. I'm in agreement w/ you over gangs being involved in pot sales. One has to realize that high-grade marijuana can sell at near gold prices. That's right, something that you can GROW (and quite quickly and easily after all, it's a weed) can be sold at a price near that of precious metals.

    Tommy Gun

+1 After his death there were photos circulating the net of Heston's collection, and while the collection was very real, it was not his. These were the pics being circulated:
  16. Hey, it's all good, I just think it's time to let it rest
  17. Nice score, Magic! Be sure to give us a full range report, I've often milled over the SBR vs. Bullpup thing in my head.
  18. Sharing his opinion is fine and dandy, but this guy feels the need to start an argument about safety in EVERY, SINGLE, GLOCK RELATED THREAD. We get the point, he's got a hard one for an external frame mounted safety. We get the point. No need to turn every thread into a "Glocks Should Have A Thumb Safety" thread. That poor postmortem equine has been physically assaulted quite enough. Some of us are perfectly content with the safety mechanisms on a Glock, he needs to accept that, and move on.

    Best Ruger Ever?

Well, I've been shooting since a very young age and I've never had a stranger or acquaintance grab any of my firearms and squeeze off several rounds. In fact, the opportunity for them to do so has never presented itself. Coincidence? I think not.

    Best Ruger Ever?

In college I learned that if you leave the other 1/2 of your hoagie in the fridge, someone will eat it. This was a lesson that was acceptable to learn the hard way. Learning how to properly keep up with something such as a firearm IS NOT that kind of lesson. It's becoming increasingly apparent that you shouldn't own a gun, no matter how robust and redundant it's safety mechanisms are.
