  1. It's a Lose-Lose situation, really. Without liquor, these ladies would never get any action.

    Accu-Wedge for ARs

Speaking of which, got more Tactical Inovations lowers in yet (those DO have the screw, right?)? That's the lower I think I'll be using for my SPR build...
  3. For me, I would say the location has most to do w/ convenience, but if I had kids, I would sacrifice some convenience for more safety.
  4. So, if I drink 6, it's 3x as good for me, right?

    Worth the Wait

It might be a bit of a drive for you, but I've bought several firearms from Guns and Leather in Greenbriar over the past 2yrs and I've always been treated well by their staff. I was in their a few weeks ago picking up a transfer and, although crowded, I didn't see any of the "Obama Markup Mania" that has been so prevalent as of late.
  6. So, I gotta ask. WHAT exactly is it that you do, willis? Salvage?
  7. Ah, I see. Not too familiar w/ the Tavor.
  8. It's going to be an intense up-hill battle to get one made. You'll need a lot of free time, solid-modeling software, a good dial caliper, and something to take all of your measurements from, like a replica (OR a trip to Israel to lay your hands on the real deal). Anywho, if you were able to have the molds manufactured for one, I'm sure there would be a market for the product. I have experience w/ solid-modeling software, so if you get serious about it, drop me a line I'd be glad to help.
  9. Damn, I'm jealous! Sharks are great eating!

    Accu-Wedge for ARs

Thanks for the info Verbal, I think I might give a DIY solution a try (but I'll wait until my rifle kit arrives to start experimenting). I know I've got a small block of Delrin around my house somewhere (hope that isn't to hard) that my Dremel could go to work on.

    Accu-Wedge for ARs

Well, it seems some of you have had a positive experience with the wedge. Hmmmm... with it being a $5 part, maybe I'll order one when I need something else...

    Accu-Wedge for ARs

Yeah, I figure I could just wait until I get my upper, then decide from there... I guess I'm just kinda being anal and wanting it to be PERFECT when I assemble it, haha
  17. So, I was doing a little late night reading in regards to my AR build (yep, still waiting on my Del-Ton order). Anyways, I was reading about Buffer Technologies' "Accu-Wedge". It seems a lot of people have issues with getting a nice tight fit between the upper and lower, but the Accu-Wedge (a $5 part, remedys the problem). Are these things just snake-oil, or should I go ahead and order one for my soon to arrive kit?
  18. What's the finish like on a Saiga anyhow? It seems like quite people who do the conversions end up putting GunKote on their's as well. Is this because the factory finish leaves something to be desired?

    traps

Really? I've never heard that, but I'd like to know what that's all about. Happy to say I've never actually bought anything from them. Here's a site I've used before that has lots of books and manuals in PDF form: Free Info Society You can find the US Army Survival Guide there, along with the SAS's. Not to mention CIA manuals and other goodies.
  21. On TGO? Huh? Never! Say, I was wondering if I should buy a 9mm or a .40...

    Bushmaster

Nashville Sporting Arms (on Charlotte Ave in Nashville) had one or two on the wall when I stopped by to check the place out on my way home from work on Friday (wasn't overly impressed). I can't remember exactly what the config. was, but I think it was a 16" flat-top. I couldnt read the tag hanging from the trigger guard, but I think it said $1200 (too steep for a Bushy IMHO).
  23. To anyone that has a problem w/ this, I say: Art imitates life. Deal with it.
  24. Haha, that's great. I seem to remember seeing a shirt somewhere on line that said "Hadji don't surf", I got a good laugh out of it.
  25. Haha, most likely.
