  1. Pretty cool. Looks like a great alternative to the permanent stippling that seems to be so popular with polymer pistols.
  2. Sums up the thoughts on why I bought my Glock. The day I bought it, I was deciding between single action Sig P220 and the Glock 19. I chose the Glock because I wanted a gun I could throw around, leave in my glove box, WHATEVER, and not be upset about it. I can assure you the P220 would be sitting in my safe, or at best in my nightstand drawer.
  3. I feel cheated. All I got was cold rain and a little sleet.
  4. No firearms? That's strike one. Will the alcohol and tobacco be provided?
  5. Cool, take some pics when you get it!
  6. I for one, would certainly be willing to throw down more than my benefactor dues to keep TGO here. This is probably the best gun forum I've ever participated in. It's based around our locality, it's not too big, not too small. No ridiculously ad-smattered pages, no trolling problem (::cough:: arfcom ::cough:. I'm sure we could do a fund raiser, or membership drive of some sort to cover hosting dues.

For sure! It kills me when I see someone order a prime piece of USDA and ask for it anything past Medium-Rare. Order a hamburger!
  8. The plus for skateboard grip tape is that it's generally thinner, and lays well on most all surfaces.
  9. I'd like to have one, but there's a lot on my list right now. I'd probably be happier w/ that G36cLONE you've got, haha.

  12. Might I suggest a different IWB holster?
  13. Well, after I scored the bags of money, I squandered it all on these huge pectorals.
  14. ANYTHING can be found on the streets of Thailand. ANYTHING.
  15. Last time I had some was a little under 24 years ago... Haha, if I ever sell an EBR, I'll be sure to mention "LAST ONE AVAILABLE IN NORTH AMERICA!!!11"
  16. I used to drink that stuff several years ago...
  17. I'm no 1911 guru, but what's the weight difference? 1/2 pound or so?
  18. I never got a call back either... I guess he figures that anyone that called at that general time yesterday was part of the same tele-assault.
  19. I've gotta say the Walther, I love the way they feel in my hand. The M&P was a close second, much in part due to it's price point.

    My first AR build

    Bob Ross, FTW!
  21. When I was 19 I took a year off college and did some traveling work for an HVAC company. I spent 2 months in DC. After that, I came pretty close to enlisting, as Iraq and Afghanistan didn't see so bad
  22. Always bring a small packable mesh type laundry sack w/ you when you pack beer! When you stop to camp for the night, put all your beer and one large rock in the mesh sack, then place it in the coolest spot you can find in the stream. Sure, it's not as good as a frosty mug, but it does the trick when you're "roughing it".
  23. Haha, I just had a flashback to watching "Ren and Stimpy" as a kid... when Ren used to pray for "huge pectoral muscles" and "large sacks of money" everynight

    Laser for G26 or G19

I have a 19 myself, without a laser though. For whatever reason, I'm just not too much of a fan of sub-compacts. Pretty much anything you put on that 26 besides a LaserMax or Crimson Trace (I dont even know if they make laser grips for the 26) is going to be pretty obtrusive to the form factor. EDIT: Above post answered my question about the CT's, haha.

    Laser for G26 or G19

Well, if you're trying to keep it low-profile, there's always the LaserLyte If you're not trying to break the bank, grab the NCSTAR
