I got one from them that was part of a full non-blemish upper that was rough as a cobb about 3 months ago. It isn't that the finish was missing in places (it was)...it is that in most places the finish was VERY rough in texture. It looked the bolt carrier was made of cast iron...like a cast iron skillet. I emailed them about it and they gave me an RMA and exchanged it for free. Took about ten days from the time I emailed them til the new replacement BCG came back. Only bad looking piece I have ever gotten from them, but they swapped it out pronto. Would like to see the pics of this one to see if it is the same appearance. But mine looked like that out of the box.

Can you turn that into a Head Up display on an Aimpoint or EOTech?

Geissele Triggers: Worth It?
atlas3025 replied to SouthernLion's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have never used one in an AR, but it was worth every penny in my SCAR. I will say I have been really impressed with the Rock River NM two stage for AR's. They are about $100 shipped. Maybe someone here can compare one to a Geiselle. -
I assume we want Ebola here to do jobs American Viruses just won't do.

Man, got to shoot it this weekend...it is such a pleasure to shoot. The trigger feels so much better when actually shooting, not that it feels bad when dry firing. The accuracy is outstanding. At 7 yards I was shooting quick 5 shot strings (2.5 to 3 seconds) into 2 inch groups. At 40 yards, I was hitting soda cans with amazing regularity. Yes, i know this isn't scientific, but I honestly shoot this pistol better than any other I have had, and with no practice at all. Right out of the box I was on the pop cans. I really don't think anyone would be disappointed with one of these once they shoot it.

I have a PPS that is very easy to shoot very well. Love it.

I think it is a good looking piece, myself.

Where is the option for SCAR?

Well, I do have a Glock--though I hate the grip angle. If you want to play with 10mm, there really is no other game in town

Someone please explain what the hell this guy is doing.

Was that the Norris Watershed pistol range? -
So, it's pretty well a push between a g19 and a vp9...unless you hate the glock grip angle, which I do.

They cost about 10% more than a glock (~$50). They have a better trigger (arguable) and certainly a more customizable grip. To each their own. I suspect they will come down in price. I really like mine.

w00t! Mine came yesterday...haven't shot it yet, but I really like the trigger and feel of the gun. The changeable side panels are awesome!

I placed an order with them yesterday. It's shipped already and should here Wednesday...can't wait!

Those are great. I don't remember where I first saw this, but I thought it was good too. -
Hillary gave the home ownership bit a go when she was President before.

The funny part is that what they call rich is very low. When Kerry ran in 04 he called a couple making $200k a year rich! I couldn't figure out how my wife and I were simultaneously nearly poor, yet nearly rich! No wonder the middle class is shrinking!

300 win mag or 6.5 creedmoor for long range shooting
atlas3025 replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Well, the army has decided on the 300 WM over the 338 Lapua for its sniper system...so it works pretty good! Doesn't mean the 6.5 won't get the job done, but 300WM will definitely get the job done for anything in North America...and most of Africa as well. Having said all that, I greatly prefer shooting my 6.5 Grendel to my 300 WM when all that opposes me is paper. -
I can't say what the best movie of all time is...or what my favorite is. However, in order to be either it would have to keep me from changing the TV to "Men at Work" if it were on another channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ev4sFcJH7X0#t=24

I wonder if they are hiding powder? I used to buy Varget there off the shelf for $22 or so a pound.

Sadly, I think the Clinton Walmart stopped a bout 6 months ago, unless they have changed their mind recently. The Halls Walmart pretty much just has Bullets now. Not sure the last time I saw Powder or Primers. They have a couple sets of dies.

Now maybe people will start paying attention to the disgrace that is Obama, again.

Saw one northbound on the southbound side of I 75 between Merchants and Callahan the other day. It was on the inside shoulder between the dividing wall and oncoming fast lane traffic. Didn't seem phased. Saw several pups on the hill behind my house last summer 30 yards from my deck. Had my 308 in hand, but the backdrop to the pups was the Emory Road Tennova Hospital 400 yards away.
