Can you still use the same tumbler? I have a Lyman 1200   Do you use a water-based spray lube? I have been using the Lee stuff and it works great but it takes FOREVER to apply. It says you can thin it with water so I'm going to try that and putting it in a spray bottle and seeing how that works. Has anyone done that?

What kind of degreaser do you use?

Wow! I had never heard that. Thanks guys! The only reason I really had a problem with it is that the dust would accumulate in the case holder on my press and the primer seat would catch as the ram was on it's way back up.   Also, what are the pros/cons of walnut vs. corncob?

I've been tumbling my brass with walnut shell media just because that's what I could find. It does put a very nice shine on the brass but it also leaves a lot of dust inside the case. What is the best way to clean this out or can you just leave it in there?

Good points. Where I see the value is if ammo were to get virtually impossible to find (it's obviously hard now, but you can find it if you have the money), you can shoot any of these eight calibers plus all 12 guage ammo out of one gun. So if you don't have the capability to carry all your guns or they get confiscated/stolen (same thing IMO), you have a lot more capability than you would otherwise. Maybe more of a novelty now, but could be a life-saver later.

Front Sight is AWESOME!!! I went there for the 4 day Defensive Handgun a couple years ago and I want to go back for a carbine class at some point. I can't say enough good about that place and it's instructors. Be sure and let us know how the advanced class is!

Congratulations!!! I'll spare you all the advice like people gave me. But I will tell you it'll be the most rewarding event in your life!!!   Also i'm sure you know by now that while the NICU is a great place for a baby to be, it still sucks. Hope she gets to come home soon!

Another option would be to make a benefit bank account and hook the paypal account up to the benefit bank account and Don or his family can draw out of it as they see fit. Seems like it would be pretty painless and convenient. I have a buddy that set up something like that when a friend's house burned down awhile back. :2cents:

That's true but Bruce Willis has voiced his opinions in favor of the 2nd Amendment and that doesn't seem to have done much. At least not that I can tell. But Americans in general do seem to be all about football so maybe Peyton would have more of an effect.
