  1. Well I like the flames. If you do not, ok. CK1, why did you have to mention kwik? it was a great w/e.

    Real gun porn!

Let's see some more tattoo shots. Ok, you can put some guns in those pics too, you know, to keep from hijacking this thread and all.
  3. Look at "Artofthehide.com". Bought one for my wife, she loves it. Pocket or purse, easy to get to and easy to fire.
  4. Got my wife a Ruger LCP for Valentines this year. She tells her friends "Nothing says I Love You like a Ruger". Got her a Wallet Holdster(correct spelling) made by a guy in Texas. (artofthehide.com). BATF says Not AOW, so it is legal (stopped those posts). That is my brag!

    Funny video

Nope. That one does not work either, just thumbnails.
  6. I too wear Diamond Gussett jeans. They are very comfortable and fit well. They so far have out lasted any denim jean I have worn. I recommend them to ya'll.
  7. Called on my renewal today. (Did it by mail, BIG mistake). They cashed my check Jan 8. Very nice lady, Wanda, told me there was only 1 lady doing background checks now, budget cuts and all. She is really backed up. Will not be sending the "renewal application" receipt in the mail, too busy. If my new permit does not come in time, I cannot carry, period. No receipt!! DO NOT renew by mail. Take a day off work and stand in line. At least you get a receipt.
  8. My handle was "stretch".
  9. Well, just in case, I am getting one blue contac, and stuffing a sock in my underwear, just on one side. Then I can still hang around and watch the fun.
  10. Good friend of mine met with the Tn State Guard one Saturday. They are NOT allowed to carry a weapon. In the event of being called by the Gov, they are responsible for directing traffic and handing out food. It was stressed they would NOT be allowed to carry a weapon for any reason, even their personal handgun and even if they had a carry permit. Not my idea of a Militia.
  11. Buried my Dad in June. Korean War Veteran. Honor Guard came out, played taps, flag folding etc. No guns. I believe those "21-gun salutes" are for active military, and special ranks. Honor Guard was a nice touch.
  12. Got my renewal letter in the mail today, no check box for 'duplicate' permit. Maybe that is something they only do in person. I plan to mail it in. I HATE to go to DMV. It is so demeaning and time consuming. Besides, they get real upset if the see your gun. Did you know you are not supposed to carry in the USA? (Sorry for the sarcasm, but the DMV get me worked up. Worse that the Post Office. Not the people, just the place).

    Glocks

G19 for carry. Bought a G34 to shoot competition, but who can find or afford that much ammo anymore. Bought a G36 in .45. Reloaded several hundred rounds of .45, but have not been to the range.
  14. Hey Phillip, no one will take you up on your "wager" because.... Wait for it..... When you are right, you are right!
  15. What makes the NAA with a Wallet holster an AOW? I have been researching, and cannot find anything to support this statement. Just curious for no real reason. No really.
  16. Not in public.
  17. Rant on: I wish you guys that insist on "talking to the manager, to let him know that things are not right" would stop. Just keep you mouth shut and your guns covered. Maybe they are fullfilling a corp mandate by posting. If it is not legal, then we all win. He did what he was told, but we can still legally carry. Where I work was not posted properly. Everything was ok, Security turned the other way, until some "jack-leg" raised a big stink because "you are not posted properly". Well now we are and it is illegal for me to carry. Thanks guys!!! Open carry is asking for a challenge. I know it is you "right", but why risk it? Rant off.
  18. Took my 13 year old son squirrel hunting, his first hunt! He got a tree rat, a boar. We had a great time. Great weather, good friends, and his first kill. He got blood on his hands, and wiped it on his pants. Badge of honor. He is so cool now. Also, from the tick thread, we used Permonone (sp). worked great. No bites of any kind.
  19. Ya'll are crazy!
  20. What is the name of that BBQ place on West Trinity Lane, on the "other side" if I-65? Good BBQ. I think they have every kind, wet and dry, they even have brisket. It is on the left just over the rise. Like someone said earlier in this thread, the best BBQ is in the worst neighborhoods.
  21. 19 years this October. 2nd time around for both of us. We learned from our first mistakes.
  22. Dad passed away last Sunday, son at church camp, wife out-of-town. Quite day since church. Just me and the dog.
  23. Benchmade Gryptillion. Little more money, but worth it.
  24. One of those v-shaped tools with preset steel(of some sort) blades. Stainless steel blades are cut on a steeper angle than carbon steel blades and these tools seem to be cut for stainless steel blades. This works best with modern stainless-type steel blades. A couple of strokes and I can shave with my knife - Benchmade and Case. Whet stones are too soft for stainless steel. For old-school carbon steel blades, I use a steel (Old Timer 340). Whet stones take too long, after all, where is the microwave?
