  1. Friend and I plan to be there. Both bought last time, just looking this time(yeah right). Hope there are more vendors and guns there tomorrow.
  2. Started my son around 6 years old. 22 rifle is heavy, layed fore stock on a table or bench. Did not take him long, and he could hit bullseye almost every time. Got him a 22 target pistol a few years later. Never looked back. Taught him proper safety, muzzle discipline, breathing, etc. He is 16 now, shoots better than me. Much steadier shooter. Hope to get into IDPA this year. We still shoot BB guns in back yard. He also shoots Airsoft with his friends.
  3. No love loss here. Talked to him when he was in Goodlettsville. Very arrogate, almost rude to someone who was interested in range membership. He convinced me not to do business with him, ever. Hopefully time has mellowed him some. People skills go a long way in the business world.
  4. 1965 Chevelle 300 Post, 283 (220hp) 4bbl, power glide (2spd automatic), 331 posi rear end. Parents ordered it new in '65. Drove it 5 months, swapped in a 375(hp) 327 and a 4 spd. Totaled it a month later. Way too much motor for a 16 year old hot rodder,
  5. Anything by Lee Child, currently in "Worth Dying For". Also like Brad Thor and Vince Flynn.
  6. I like it but.... I too need black lettering on a lighter background. Easier on older eyes.
  7. Friend had same issue, we told him limp wrist. Manly man shot same pistol, same thing. He called Glock, they sent him a new spring. No more problems.
  8. Bought for my son for his 16th b'day. Plan to pickup from GS tomorrow after work. It will be Wed night before he can play it. Bummer for him.
  9. Lee Child has some good stuff out there.
  10. 1970 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible (white with blue strips and top), and 1970 Chevy truck(orange) that my dad bought new in 1970 from Capitol Chevrolet in Nashville.
  11. Ordered mine too. Also, picked up a small(1 AA) flashlight at Hendersonville Guns & Leather store, for $10.00 the other night. 35 lumens. Has a pocket clip. RIght inside the front door. Great light, small package, and very bright.
  12. Nothing in Gallatin/Hendersonville yet.
  13. Ryobi 18v combo pak, and a cowboy belt and holster for my Colt single action revolver.
  14. I would not miss either one of them. I say GOOD BYE!!
  15. Wish list: Marlin 1894C in .357 mag Ruger Vaquero in .357 mag Probably enough. Hope Santa is paying attention!
  16. Had a .41 mag in a Thompson Contender Super 14, back in the '80s. Used it for hunting. Had quite a kick, even in a 14" bull barrel. Could not imagine that in a snub.
  17. Nah, near impossible to prove you legally own another man's gun. I vote paranoia.
  18. Yea, and I wish they would do it in Sumner County. It is 70 miles one way for me to Springhill. Worth the trip, but it would be much better here. Also, there was a 50 kid limit. That is for the entire state! Most of them were locals from Maury County. Got one more year, only available for 9-15 year olds.
  19. Took my 14 year old son to a Youth Hunt in Maury County today. Shot clays, ate lunch, then hunted for 3.5 hours. He shot 4 boxes of shells and got 4 doves. He is better at clays. When we got home, he cleaned them(learned how watching youtube video). What a day!! (wish I could have hunted too).
