  1. Used a lot of S&B over the past few years. .45ACP ans 9mm It seems to be loaded a little hotter than WWB. and Blazer. Not too dirty, about like blazer.
  2. I looked through the TWRA hunting Guide... All I seen was for Migratory bird... No more than 3 shells total including the chamber... Nothing mentioned on rifles and small game round capacity restrictions. I might have missed it, but I looked all through it. Here is the 2009 hunting Guide from TWRA, you might double check foir sure. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/pdfs/huntguide.pdf
  3. Thank you all very much..... That is all I needed to know.... And Thanks for the fast replies....
  4. If I become a benefactor, after 1 year or 6 months period expires. Will it automatically bill me, or do I, myself renew it every 6 months or a year? I'm not fond of the Auto-Billing process, So I want to confirm it before sign up.
  5. Well, looks like it's going back in the safe. I can all ways hand it down to my Nephew....hahaaaa Of course he wont be born until Mid August. Oh well.....
  6. I have a Savage 10 in .223. It doesn't have the AccuTrigger. It is Blue, and in a Synthetic stock. A Rocky-Mount Bi-pod, and a 4-16x44 A/O Scope. I bought it from a family member with intentions of shooting groundhogs. All I ever shot was paper. And that was 2 years ago. I don't see me shooting it again. And I am back in the the pistol market again. Don't hold back on me. I'm not one to get my feelings hurt. It sure doesn't cost any thing to keep it in the safe. I'm hoping to get enough to make out with a used Ruger Auto ect.... But I honestly have no idea what it is worth. All I know is what I have in it. And if it's value is less than that. I'll keep it. Here is a pic, I'd say it at least 98%. I'm sure if you look hard enough there is a scratch on it some where.
  7. Smith & Wesson 686....It just fits my hand better than the rest.
  8. I like the older Glock . All nice...Thanks for sharing.
  9. I have the 9VE (9mm) and the trigger is NOT good. But it is accurate, and I trust it. Mine is in SS and no problems yet. I do wish the mags were plastic, but that is just me.....? I've done no mods to my trigger. I have taken it apart. And it is very simple. All good except the trigger.
  10. The CZ's shoot better for me. But on avg. they go for less in the used market. So if you get it. I'd make sure you know it's the one you want first. As for value. If it is EDC then money is of little concern. Get the one that fits you best, and if you can shoot them first. Get the one you like/Shoot better. I vote CZ for carry....
  11. That sounds like what I need, or lets say want. I'll do some reading on it. Thanks.
  12. Did you bake yours? I was thinking about it, but don't think I want to bake that in the house oven. That and with my luck it would screw up some how, and trap moisture under the coating. And rust underneath it. I don't have the best luck when it come to trying to make things BETTER. Seems like all I can do is fix broke thing. I'm a pretty firm believer in "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" But I can all ways go for better. By the way it looks good.....Very good. How does it hold up to neglect, as in not having to wipe it down every night?
  13. I also have to go with the 3-9 Bushnell like the pictured above. Great scope for the money.

    S&W 40 cal

You did good. No need to worry. Since you are using it for both HOME,and Self defence it seems to be a good compromise. Now all you need to do is shoot it.....
  15. Not sure if this will help a lot... But it seems that 50+ is a bit much. 15-30 seems to be the standard loads. http://www.google.com/search?q=load+for+.32+squirrel+black+powder&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS293US293
  16. 399.00 - OUT THE DOOR - .......Not Before the Tax, and Check. Other wise look some where else.
  17. Hope he gets well soon....
  18. what where are the Over-All...... By the way thanks... I like that type music.
  19. The "Unsupported chamber", is present in all Glocks from the factory. The reason being is the design, it is that way to make feeding MANY different types of ammo reliable. The only way around it is to buy after market.
  20. As long as the barrel says 3" on it you can use 2-3/4" and 3". Buckshot is fine in it, and I go for 3" to get a few extra shot. I would NOT recommend using a slug in a full choke barrel. And 7-1/2 will go through a coke can....At least an empty one just fine.
  21. I like it just the way it is..... I can't see a reason to change it?
  22. The other 2 were 13, an 15 years old. For some reason I'm not shocked. I bet they get off easy......
  23. If you can, shot it before you buy it. Some people have had problems with it feeding 2 shells at once. And report it hard to feed 3.5" shells. Other than that all other report seem to be good. I'd personally go for a used 870, Just about anything you want for one. And parts wise they are pretty cheap to buy.
  24. Well since you said it was a pocket gun. Then I guess this means you are going to trust your life to it. So I chose a revolver. It is "Super reliable" and the failure rate will be little to none. As for the other 2 options, they are far more likely to have a failure than the revolver.
