  1. Yes we are equal- the answer to this question is "HUMAN".
  2. I thought it sounded fake, but couldnt find the snopes link.
  3. I hope this is a hoax: Impeachment Time: Obama Grants Eminent Domain Rights to China to Secure Debt Impeachment Time: Obama Grants Eminent Domain Rights to China to Secure Debt The time for partisan bickering just ended. This is as serious as a heart attack. Obama is going to spend so much money, which he intends to get from China via the sale of government backed bonds, that the Chinese apparently don't think he'll be able to make good on them. So President Obama gave the Chinese eminent domain rights to American land and businesses as collateral - i.e. we don't pay, they now own America. From Patriot Room. Because it looks like our wonderful new administration is granting the Chinese eminent domain as collateral for US debts. Yea you read that right. That means when we can no longer pay for all this massive spending the Chinese can call in the loans and take our land. The thought that American citizens and businesses could lose their land as a means of payment is downright scary. I highly doubt ANY American citizen would have voted for Obama if they knew this was coming down the pike. Live Leak has more details. Sources at the United States Embassy in Beijing China have just CONFIRMED to me that the United States of America has tendered to China a written agreement which grants to the People's Republic of China, an option to exercise Eminent Domain within the USA, as collateral for China's continu More..ed purchase of US Treasury Notes and existing US Currency reserves! The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China. This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take -- inside the USA -- land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities - to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government. Put simply, the feds have now actually mortgaged the physical land and property of all citizens and businesses in the United States. They have given to a foreign power, their Constitutional power to "take" all of our property, as actual collateral for continued Chinese funding of US deficit spending and the continued carrying of US national debt. This cannot stand. It is traitorous and Obama should be impeached. UPDATE (March 3, 2009): World Net Daily contacted the State Department for a comment on the story. The State Department says there is "no factual basis" to an Internet rumor that went viral [/url] over the weekend claiming Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was willing to pledge American homes to China as collateral for Beijing buying U.S. debt. The rumor, in various versions, claimed Clinton brought with her last month to Beijing a written agreement offering to extend to China the option to exercise eminent domain rights within the U.S. The rights purportedly were offered as collateral for China's continued willingness to purchase additional trillions of dollars in U.S. Treasury debt the Obama administration hopes to sell to finance projected federal budget deficits. "There is no factual basis or substance to this report," Laura Tischler, a State Department press officer, e-mailed WND in response to an inquiry.. . . Underlying the Internet rumor was the fact that a major purpose of Clinton's February trip to China was to make sure the Chinese would continue to buy U.S. Treasury debt in the trillions of dollars the Obama administration will need to fund the massive budgetary deficits planned for economic bailouts and an unprecedented expansion of the welfare state. So Clinton went to China to give (still unspecified) assurances that the Obama Administration's blowing of trillions of Chinese-backed tax dollars on pork wouldn't jeopardize the United States' ability to pay the debt. That must have been a pretty tough sell. So, though the State Department denies the claim of grants of eminent domain rights, Clinton reportedly did calm Chinese nerves by earnestly telling them that we would pay the bills, "Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye." If that is good enough for the ChiComs, it is good enough for me.
  4. Its apparent that I am still learning the basics of this particular NFA item. My first assumption was well off the mark on the construction of a can. But this is cool, I'm glad to be taking in all this new info. No worries. That Liberty can looks like it may have potential and a decent price. Does anyone have direct experience with this can?
  5. Massachusetts SJC rules 2nd Amendment does not apply to states | SouthCoastToday.com Massachusetts SJC rules 2nd Amendment does not apply to states By Brian Fraga bfraga@s-t.com March 11, 2010 12:00 AM The right to bear arms as defined in the Second Amendment does not apply to the states, so Massachusetts can regulate who can have firearms and how those weapons are to be stored, the state's high court ruled Wednesday. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court unanimously dismissed two challenges to the state's gun laws that require citizens to register with police departments before acquiring a firearm, as well as keeping guns stored in a locked container or equipped with a trigger lock. The court upheld the conviction of Nathaniel DePina, a New Bedford man who is serving a two-year jail sentence for carrying an illegal firearm. His lawyer, Paul Patten of Fall River, challenged the conviction on the grounds that the state's gun licensing laws were unconstitutional. Patten said the Supreme Judicial Court missed an opportunity to contribute to the debate surrounding the Second Amendment. "I think they could have at least given some guidance on the issue," Patten said. "This leaves all the main questions unanswered." Meanwhile, law enforcement officials and gun control advocates praised the ruling. "We have seen in Bristol County, and I believe this is true throughout Massachusetts, that 95 percent of the gun violence is committed by those who have no lawful right to possess or carry a firearm," Bristol County District Attorney C. Samuel Sutter said. "That is a powerfully compelling argument for the need for licensing requirements for the possession of firearms." New Bedford Police Chief Ronald E. Teachman said he was "relieved" with the court's rulings. "If the SJC had not ruled this way, where would we be? That anyone can have a gun, regardless of criminal background or mental health?" Teachman said. The challenges before the Supreme Judicial Court flowed from the U.S. Supreme Court's 2008 decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, which said that the Second Amendment applied to private citizens in addition to state-regulated militias. On Wednesday, Massachusetts Justice Ralph Gants said the Heller decision did not have any bearing on state law. "We conclude that, based on current federal law, the Second Amendment does not apply to the states, either through the 14th Amendment's guarantee of substantive due process or otherwise," he said. "The defendant's challenge likewise fails under our Massachusetts Constitution, which recognizes no individual right to keep and bear arms." Jim Wallace, president of the Gun Owners Action League, a gun rights organization, decried the judge's ruling. "What a mess. It's very clear to me that Justice Gants did not actually read the Heller decision," he said. The issue could be revisited soon. Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in McDonald v. Chicago, a case in which the court is asked to determine whether the Second Amendment applies to state and local laws. "The Chicago case will be a remarkable decision," Teachman said. "It will have a profound effect either way." Attorney Dwight Duncan, a professor at the new UMass School of Law at Dartmouth, said the Supreme Judicial Court may be on "very thin ice" in its gun rulings. "Given that virtually every provision of the Bill of Rights has been incorporated against the states by the 14th Amendment's due process clause, I think it highly unlikely that the U.S. Supreme Court will decide that the Second Amendment does not apply to the states," Duncan said.
  6. How do you safely push a .264 projectile through holes that are .224 in diameter?
  7. I would add to this one. If the budget is not balanced or the country is running a deficit for the last fiscal year, no salary increase of any kind, including monies associated with thier offices and staff.
  8. Thanks for the info 9teeneleven. But my original question still remains unanswered- who, if any, make a can in 6.5mm aside from AWC?
  9. Great question- I don't know. My understanding is you want no gap between the baffles and the projectile to get maximum effectiveness, i.e. suppression. So this is what I'm shooting for (no pun intended).
  10. I am looking for a suppressor in 6.5mm (.264). The only place I have found that builds a can in this size is AWC Systems with their Thundertrap model. Thundertrap Suppressor : AWC Systems Technology Are there any other manufacturers that make this particular caliber can? Note: I prefer to have it built in this caliber rather than buying an oversized 6.8 or 7.62, or having a smaller can bored out.
  11. [sarcasm] Now thats the American spirit! You might as well rent a private aircraft and crash it into your local hospital to show them how displeased you are. [/sarcasm] The issue (one of many, but...) I have is that any future changes, should this bill become law, will require 67 votes to amend. Whats the chance of that happening? This law might be around for awhile.
  12. Bingo- I believe that sums up the "shall not be infringed" portion of the 2A. It means having the ability to possess anything necessary to defeat a tyrannical gov't. Lawmakers would rather rule with an iron hand than permit the average citizen to own these tools. Personally, I don't believe our nation will return to a more normal state in a peaceful fashion.
  13. I feel like I woke up in bizzaro-world. Healthcare pops up on the radar, the people speak their minds at town halls, the bill dies, and re-emerges with a possible nuclear option. Climate bill (Cap & trade) comes into the light, then global research is proving to be falsified, no global warning since 1995, and then its resurected and lined up to be pushed through (possibly with another nuclear option). Now the UN has a report leaked that they have a plan to enact global governance through this climate charade. (http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/022510_greeneconomy.pdf) We write our congressional leaders, and it appears that no one is listening. The people have spoken quite loudly and clearly- "NO"! At what point does this become torches and pitchforks? At what point do we stand up to defend our nation, our sovereignity? After Obama signs it? [Note to self- buy pitchfork.]
  14. Hgunner, you are close by. Any chance I can test-drive using your trimmer? Since this is a large investment, I want to get plenty of input and possible hands-on testing prior to buying mine. I have hundreds of cases just waiting to be trimmed, but I'm not going through the painful ordeal of hand trimming again. I tried to talk my son into doing it, but he quit only after a few cases. I had a Lyman hand trimmer before and the locking mechanism failed, so I returned it to Midway. That was about a year ago. Now I need to find a solution to catch up with all my cases that are stacking up.
  15. I am planning on getting a powered case trimmer. All trimmers are quite pricey, so I want to choose wisely. I'm awaiting my refund check and I have plenty of time to decide. - Hornady: Midsouth HORNADY RELOADING TOOLS LNL CASE PREP CENTER 110 VOLT The Hornady is my top choice, but that price is tough to swallow. I do like how the trimmer and other prep tools are co-located and easily accessible. - RCBS: RCBS Trim Pro Power Case Trimmer Kit 110 Volt - MidwayUSA - Lyman: RCBS Trim Pro Power Case Trimmer Kit 110 Volt - MidwayUSA Does anyone have one of these trimmers? What are the pro/cons?
  16. I would say, "d&mn, I have been slacking, time to reload." Or did they steal my reloader too?
  17. I have this same bag and I love it. I didn't realize all the "bonus bags" you get with this one. It's plenty big to hold the items you mentioned and much more. Its a high quality bag at a reasonable price. Plus if you have a problem, Midway has great customer service.
  18. Well, after waiting out the weather, I finally made it to the range and made the final adjustments to my Grendel. I'm now dialed in at 100 yds. Now its time to see what kind of distance I can get out of her. Also, today I purchased my Adams Arms (Adams Arms - LE Rifle System) piston conversion kit. My current forearm is approx 12.25" in length. It basically sits just behind my current gas block. So, does this mean I have to purchase a 12" (piston compatible) forearm now? I can't tell from the pictures how far the gas block sits behind the mount. Will this interfere with the length of a 12" forearm? Or do I have to go with a 10" setup? Anyone have any knowledge on these kits? I plan to call Adams Arms after the kit arrives, but I'm trying to price out my forearm in the mean time.
  19. Well kiss that all goodbye. It appears our elected idiots have reached a new milestone. How will they resolve this? Maybe they will pass Barrys budget proposal. It Is Now Mathematically Impossible To Pay Off The U.S. National Debt
  20. I got out after being snowed-in yesterday and had some fun at the range. I am still learning the basics of my Mark 4 Leupold. I think I almost have it dialed in where I want it. Here's a few pics of my zombie killing today. My target was at 100yards. I added some glowing orange eyes to simulate my zombie. I dialed in my scope, but I'm still about 1.5inches low. This was my best grouping of the day. Finally I had to destroy the zombie with a triple-tap to the head. Mission complete.
  21. Maybe Obama would like to go see the newly released version of Our American Cousin.
  22. I love my XD40SC. The only complaint I have is with the lever in the center of the trigger. When I'm shooting it always seems to irritate my trigger finger. Normally I carry a Sig 229. In any event, the XD 40 is a nice piece. I would work on the price a little.
