The costs varies with the total kW rating. The systems I have priced (including installation) range from $16k-$27k. The stimulous package that congress passed includes a 30% tax credit based on the total cost of the system. TVA also offers a $1000 grant. I just keep thinking that I am not moving anytime in the future. Plus I can pre-empt the possible skyrocketing utility costs with Cap & Trade. ...just thinking long term, but I don't know much about solar panels.

Does anyone have solar panels mounted on their house? Or have experience with a larger system? Are they worth the investment? Any thoughts?

Some people don't understand the term "quiet professional".

Forget the zipper. I have a side entry vest that uses velcro and QD clips. It holds 8 AR mags and 4 pistol mags. The only thing missing is a small medical pouch with my 1st aid kit and quick clot. I have my Blackhawk Serpa pistol holster mounted to the front of my vest rather than using a drop leg holster. Its easier to access and doesn't bounce around is you have to run. Also, if you have to transition from your rifle, the rifle won't interfere with the drawing of the pistol. Mounted on the back of the vest a 2 liter camelback pouch/bladder. It offsets the weight in the from. I also have a utility pouch with non-essential/medical items under the water pouch.

The one thing I failed to mention; I will be camo'ing my 6.5 Grendel AR once I get the scope and muzzle brake intalled. Therefore I didn't care what color Magpul stock I put on it. The dark earth/brown/tan color was the only one available at the time of purchase.

Your rounds look good, but that one (2nd from the right) appears to have a nice bell on the casing. One good item to have is a case gage. After you load a round, you can check the overall dimensions simply by sliding the case into the gage. MidwayUSA - L.E. Easy to do- just mark the bullet with a Sharpie around where the bullet meets the top of the case. This will give you a visual indication that the bullet has moved.

Correct, no round in the chamber. You can only chamber a round if you plan to use your rifle in self defense.

I see it reads like this: "Handgun Permits - As introduced, permits handgun carry permit holders to possess or carry a loaded rifle, loaded shotgun, or loaded magazine or clip therefore while in a motor vehicle. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17." How do they define "loaded"? I see they have covered loaded magazines, but what is considered a loaded rifle- a round chambered & weapon on safe? EDIT- I didn't read far enough. I answered my own question: "SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-17-1307, is amended by adding the following new subsection (e): (e) It is an exception to the application of this section that a person authorized to carry a handgun pursuant to § 39-17-1351, is transporting a rifle or shotgun in or on a privately-owned motor vehicle, and the rifle or shotgun does not have ammunition in the chamber. However, such a person does not violate this section by inserting ammunition into the chamber if the ammunition is inserted for purposes of justifiable self-defense pursuant to §§ 39-11-611 or 39-11-612. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it. "

So.......if they read them their "rights", bring them to US soil, put them on trial, and then the evidence is throw out for one reason or another.......are they now permitted to stay on US soil? Will the gov't give them a nice big relocation and welcome-to-the-neighborhood check for inconviencing them? I can't believe they are willing to expand our constitution to include foreigners.
