  1. Ohh I can see we're going to get along just fine! I've been wondering how to get started with mi Pi. I bought one when they came out but haven't done anything with it yet. Complete newbie in programming here...
  2. WELCOME! Memphis here too. This is a great forum, I'm sure you'll enjoy being part of it.
  3. holy smokes, I'd never heard of such until this thread. Definitely going to read up on the 460 Rowland business.
  4. Yep, now it's down with the Wednesday maintenance message.
  5. Site was just having trouble, it's back online now.
  6. I have been trying to access the ATF site for E-File Form 1. No dice. Won't load the form to even start filing. Edit and corrected for me not reading.
  7. I'm going to get a few bails of hay and put some squash on them, maybe a cucumber too. Have never seen this done before till the post above.
  8. I'm on the hunt for one of your knives...keep missing them. Another beauty here!
  9. Yes, my XDs may be on the way out the door... Can't wait to shoot this gun.
  10. I have one as well and love it for the "made in USA" factor.
  11. Can anyone point me to a Lower Parts Kit in Olive Drab Green? I've not been able to find one as of yet. To clarify, I'm looking for ODG controls...not just grip.
  12. Yes I've had to be careful with this. Now that I'm down to the last bits it will be more difficult. I did get free shipping on the Diamond Back parts.
  13. I ordered a Phase 5 pistol buffer tube and trigger guard.  Now all I have left are LPK and sights...and some kind of sling attach point.  No way I'm going to be under 400$, but all will be made in USA!
  14. Thanks everyone.  As an update, I've got some upper pieces from diamond back coming...and an aerotrend upper (splurged!)  Now I need a lower parts kit, pistol tube, charging handle, sights and grip.  My research indicated that Magpul is American made so I'm looking at the MOE K2 grip.  Supposed to be closer to vertical and better for shorter weapons so it seems like a good fit for this build.     The pistol tube and charging handle are next.  Ambi charging handles are crazy priced!  I actually gave away a pistol tube a few months ago because I thought I'd never build one... :wall:   it wasn't padded though, and I think I want a padded one.
  15. That's kind of my goal but I"m having a hard time getting there for less than $400.  And that's at 50 for a lower.
  16. Thanks guys!  I"m looking hard and making notes.   Any comments on Diamond Back products?
  17. Hey guys, I'm putting together an AR Pistol, my first.  I've already got a lower and a barrel (7.5").  I'm looking for recommendations on the rest of the parts to completely assemble the pistol with parts made in the states.  I also am looking for best value stuff.  This is a budget build.  Any manufacturers you guys know of I'd appreciate hearing about them. Thanks!
  18. either way, it's just a form and stamp to be covered according the the Man.
  19.   Digging up bones here I know...just noting that I've referenced this for a few friends recently.   Sticky maybe?
  20. Ron, I noticed your location...looks like you're moving on up on the US!  Welcome to TN!  Nice leatherwork there.  I've been slowly trying my hand at some leather myself.
  21. I like mine.  All my other knives refuse to stay in the safe now that my 5050 moved in.  It's causing quiet a ruckus.
