    Ruger Mkii Vs Mkiii

I can't comment on all three, but I can say I love my MKII. You can't go wrong with it.
  3. I would go with a EMP. I've put about 1500-1600 rounds down the pipe with only one hiccup and that was in the first 50rds. I think that was a combo of ammo and or the gun being brand new. Since then it's been flawless. That 1911 was built to be a 9mm.

    Kel Tec Question

I have a friend that just bought one over a month ago, but he works 12hrs a day and being a new dad to twins he's never fired it. So being the friend I am , I took it to the range a couple days ago. I may be bais because I hate D/A guns. So for me it sucked. No fun at all to shoot. The trigger was like pulling a elephant with your pinky. The first few shots it felt like it would never fire, you really have to pull on the trigger, and there goes your accuracy. But of course in the heat of the moment that would not be a problem. Although I must say I feed it a box and there was never a hiccup.
  5. Heirlooms are priceless, it makes a cool gun even cooler. Enjoy.

    any H&k guys?

I'm a HK big fan. I own a USP.40, USP.45 Tactical, SL8-1 Rifle. Looking for a USP 9mm Tactical now. Of course for a good price.
  8. I look forward to seeing the XDM .45 to hit the market. I really like my XDM .40.
  9. I've never had the nightmares thank god. But I do fire a few rounds through my ole faithful Kimber CDP which is my carry, everytime I go to the range. Just to make sure ole faithful will be faithful.
  10. I'm a big cal guy I love recoil, but with the cost of gas, milk, and bread where it is. I like shooting my sons' P22 more than ever. But still there's nothing like the bang of a .45.
  11. The more I look at that 1911, the more it makes me
  12. Question and I'm sure I'm not alone. What do you want for this little gem??
  13. I would go with the G21. I'm not a big Glock guy, but I like the G21 slim frame. It's still a larger frame but the slim frame makes it better to CC. Although it's a bit large for me to CC. I also look at the more rounds the better. But I would guess the M&P offers mags with higher counts?.?.? I agree renting before buying only makes since.
  14. post a range report when you get a chance.
  15. good deal with all the goods. i was thinking like DavidD if you don't want it, pass his contacts to me.
  16. Little Copy Pistol (LCP)...............LOL!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Just woundering what all the hype is on the Ruger LCP??? It looks like my Kel Tec P3at's twin. They look the same just with different names stamped on them. And they cost at least $130+ more than the P3at. I paid $190 for my Kel Tec a couple years ago. I really like my Kel Tec P3at. With the belt clip, you don't know it's there. Although I'm not a Kel Tec handgun guy at all, but the P3at and P32 are great. Of course they are just for back-up, or ccw, no fun at the range. I have not shot a LCP so I'm not knocking it. I did see one at the show last weekend. So guys help me out what's all the hype on the LCP???

  24. how was the Nashville show?
  25. Spuds i agree, no one was buying much. i did run across a couple good deals. on Sat i bought a Sig P229 SAS (4 mags, box and 190rds of ammo) for $500. WOW!!! the guy had to pay his rent first thing Mon morning. and it did not sale quick as he wanted (45 mins) and he was leaving, he told me to make an offer I said $500 he said sold. i broke his arm off giving him $500 bucks. sold it Sun for $780. so i'm $280 bucks closer to my Kimber Team USA.
