  1.   Yep, and because any containing a narcotic are more likely to be overused in the first place.   - OS
  2.   It's using a temp designation for a shopping cart and its contents "retrieveShoppingCart.cmd?cartId=dd211d919332cd3e7eff14d1cb86e9de".   I imagine that sort of thing works on many cart interfaces used by various etailers, wouldn't expect Cabela's to be unique in that regard?   - OS
  3. I imagine wood will stand up a bit better from errant hits than PVC pipe, which I know from experience doesn't fare well at all. :)   - OS
  4. FDA has been trying to get manufacturers to phase out prescription drugs with single pill dosages of over 325mg of acetaminophen for several years, especially those that combine it with a narcotic.   If it turns out the acetaminophen is itself the difference in your pain control, you can take the risk and still just buy it over the counter, though.   - OS
  5.   Yup. Lots of places charge shipping by cost of the order rather than weight. Sportsman's Guide is good example.   - OS
  6.   Rubber, nylon, polymer, plastic -- whatever --- all are "not metal".   - OS
  7.   Seems to be garbage characters at end of link, this one works:   http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2014/02/exotic-4-foot-lizards-invading-florida/   - OS
  8.   That particular specialized link does it (original poster's cart, I guess)  then the site throws you a cookie for your IP so it persists.   If you log in, all the rest goes away.   - OS
  9.   Besides the Glocks and CZs mentioned, Berettas (including military issue M9)   Oh yeah, AR-15 has partially plastic "guide rod" (buffer, which does mostly same thing)   - OS
  10.   In 20I0 was getting my fav, Blazer 40gr LRN, for under $20 a brick delivered, buying a case of 5,000, and it was still only about $22 about six months before the '12 election.   Average Wally price for the various 500/550 packs were still in the low $20's out the door before Nov 2012 also, and of course you could get them. After the election, things started getting tight and of course Sandy Hook changed everything virtually overnight.   - OS
  11.   Yep, all they did was repeat the drill during the '08 panic. They'd have been biz stupid not to, they already had proof of success.   Hell, I'm one of the few who admit I'll still buy from them. My bucks are relatively "amoral", they go where the deals are for the most part. I even own a Moonie gun.   - OS
  12.   Well, it took couple years to get the black boxes, but they found pieces of wreckage within 5 days and it was consistent with planned flight path,  not like this situation at all.   - OS
  13.   That's America, brother. Hence CTD and BHO.   "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public."   - OS
  14.   I'm just quoting.   Far who's who, ya only know who ya already know, eh?   - OS
  15. Well, they're certainly generating lots of good press, and TGO has helped some. :): ------------   Mike Smiley Are you serious ? That's nothing to brag about , that's insane. Won't be shopping with you.   John Opinski Not at that price,no thanks . Just lost me as a future customer.   John M. Edwards I'll never darken your door at those prices.   Seth Thomas Pretty high price for 22, this is odd because their prices on other stuff are pretty reasonable.   DeeDee Phelps Does that come with a free ASS RIPPING?   Joseph Wall You can keep it at that price   Noah Warren Yikes. No thanks.   Neil Owens That's $0.16 a round after tax. That's ridiculous.   Shannon Hall-Hardway No way. Only an idjit would pay that much for rimfire.   Mark Krisle You can keep it. SMH   Mike Cooper Those are crazy, gun show, gouger prices. I hope nobody buys a single round!   Randy O'Neal HOLY COW! -------------   - OS
  16. I guess I don't see what's in it for a retailer to offer a discount for this in the first place? Perhaps if you're about the only one doing it, you figure you'd get a larger proportion of that demographic than other retailers, maybe?   - OS
  17.   One blatant diss is there, let's see how long it lasts.   - OS   edit: several now, we'll see.
  18.   To my knowledge, ATF doesn't do a raid because of state law.   - OS
  19.   Wasn't even meaning "terrorist" as much as just profit motive. Pretty hard to sell a stolen airliner, but perhaps artwork, precious metals, gems, plutonium, who knows?   Of course, to a desperate enough person, just the passengers' cash/travelers checks, and possessions constitute quite a fortune, too. More than what D.B. Cooper got, probably. :)   - OS
  20. This is the 4th or 5th email list I've made to send same message ... so far so good on the bill's progress.   Out of all those folks, I've only had one response: Mike Carter (District 29) responded that he agrees with me. Doesn't matter as long as they keep passing it along, though. :)   - OS
  21. Maybe it was simply a heist. Perhaps something on the plane worth enough to hijack to another location and snuff everyone for.   - OS
  22.   To be clear, that was already the law, this bill only clarifies driver's relationship with vehicle.   - OS
  23.   Yep, paid it for years. Now everything I have are various interest income which are not taxable.   http://www.state.tn.us/revenue/forms/indinc/inc250.pdf   - OS
  24.   Tis, but it's not like they can't get it back out of whatever they strike.   - OS
  25.   I've told 'em that in stores, but they won't listen. Etail that charges it won't either. :)   - OS
