Canyn, that looks like the Don Hume JIT that I had for my Beretta. Very comfortable as long as you have a good belt, but then again that is the story with almost every belt holster. We have moved way off of the over the shoulder cannon holder. I bought an uncle mikes when I first got my permit. I hated it and took it back. Switched to hip holsters. So all I can say is don't get an uncle mikes.

Section B means when you get out of your car. Since the Car is an extension of your home they cannot deny you having it on you in your car. Just don't touch it or get out of the car. Section C means that if you have to get out of your car (parent/teacher conference etc.) you may leave it locked up in your car as long as you don't touch it while on school property. Basically you have to stop 1000 feet from the school and remove the firearm to a place where NO ONE can access it until you get 1000 feet from school property again.

I had something funny happen on Thursday. My daughter goes to a kids fitness class (not that she needs to) 2 days a week to let out some of the pent up energy (especially with the weather being what it is lately.) Well after every 5 visits they get a toy. My daughter reached in past all of the necklaces, dolls, jewelry etc and picks out the ONLY water gun in the bag. They gave her the option of a Barbie doll or the gun and she chose the gun. I love her. I can't wait for her to get a bit bigger so we can go.

Land Line phones will still call 911 even if service is disconnected. This is again a feature that the phone companies allow so anyone can get access to police. The one time I had to call the police recently I just called the standard number in the phone book, they were there within 10 minutes. Better response time than 911 would have been. I programmed this number into my phone. No need to have a phone doing goofy things. The one time I called 911 from my cell phone it locked up and I could not perform any other action for quite some time. Nice feature, I can call 911 but I can't call anyone else that might actually be able to help.

I prefer to stay home. Glad you made it back safe and sound, but if I do HAVE to go some where I drive when I can and I carry where I can. As long as you aren't speeding and don't stop for anything but gas you can probably get by. A cop isn't going to pull you over for not speeding.

Let's see, my permit is right beneath my DL. So if the officer is being as observant as he should be, when I get my license out he will see my permit. If he isn't, well, I don't know, it might depend on the situation and whether the officer is being a jerk. Then again, I have found that most officers will treat you the way you treat them. If you are nice and show the respect that comes with the position (not the person I don't know how many times in the military I saluted the rank and not the person wearing it) they will usually treat you with respect. Honesty goes a long way, though not stating you have a permit is not being dishonest. If you are questioned, answer the questions truthfully.

Any weapon that is deemed to have some historical significance can be designated as a C&R type 03. This includes but is not limited to: SKS Enfeilds Mauser Mosin Nagant CZ Pistols (old ones) There are no NEW C&R weapons. These are all OLD firearms. Just a notes, with a HCP and a C&R license I think you can order from the CMP and have them deliver to your door.

Just because, "Should something happen" and the dealer sends the cops in my direction, I want something saying when I sold what to whom and for how much. Is it necessary? Nope, but I am a rather safe than sorry type of person.
