  1. No everyone in uniform should be permitted to carry. Everyone that works on base should be permitted to carry
  2. I say allow service members to carry personally owned weapons. If you don't trust them to carry, then boot them out
  3. I open carry sometimes. Especially if I am carrying my 1911 as it's just more comfortable that way.
  4. Is the Tax stamp a one time thing and I can now go buy suppressors on a him or is it one tax stamp, one suppressor?
  5. If I was gonna buy a glock, it'd be the G19. Period
  6. I like your solution, but functionally I dislike how you have to look all the way down to see it.   I might have done the same thing to be honest though.
  7. Leatherman or Gerber pouches work great, are deceptive, and fast to use.
  8. On a side note while there is some merit to loud pipes getting you noticed, I'm a fan of this quote: "If you think loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride the thing will do." I encourage my fellow motorcyclists to get advanced training when possible from places like the Total Control riding clinic that comes to Nashville every year. Hijack over
  9. I have a sena smh10 in my fullface. I wear earplugs and can hear it fine on the interstate.
  10. Shooting the bull averaged 16" of penetrating with the ammo in question. Similar to most 9mm jhp rounds
  11. My bigger concern is missing more than ovwrpenetrating when it comes to bystanders.
  12. 12" in gel isn't 12" in a human torso. Also it takes more penetrating ability to pierce torsos at an angle.
  13. Do they rent any 357 wheel guns for their range?
  14. I like the idea and lab results of this round but I think I would like to see some field results from it. Maybe ship a few boxes to the Pershmerga
  15. In other words noone noticed this round reliably penetrate and causes a long and good sized wound cavity. The jhp doesn't cause a lengthy wound channel. Most 380 jhp also barely gets to 12-13 inches without hitting bone. Do you aim at the chest on silouhettes?
  16. I'm headed this way, along with a fullsize 9 to sit opposite my 1911
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LczfeWK9lHw   That video is shootingthebull410 on youtube. He tested dozens of different ammos for 380 and 9mm. Some interesting clips.
  18. I loved my P11 except I didn't love the trigger. If they fix the trigger I might buy another
  19. If you are price conscious you might consider a Taurus PT111 G2. They are great pistols and not very pricey
  20. Not much to say but what a cool little pistol. I loved the ease of concealment and the familiar 1911esqe controls. It was reasonably accurate in spite of its small size. I can hit a man size silouhette at 25 yards consistently. 7 yards and closer was almost instinctively easy to blow the chest out of the silouhette. The thing that surprised me the most was the far gentler than expected recoil. Try one, you won't be disappointed.
