  1. I have had a 550B for a very long time. Thousands of rounds have been loaded on it. Never had a single problem.
  2. I'm not quite that bad. Funny thing is when I was a kid I used to play with them all the time.
  3. Really wasn't looking to kill it. My pups got all excited about it and I am scared to death one of them is going to want to play with the wrong snake. We have a lake close by and it drains through my property. I have to admit I get the hee bee jee bees around snakes. Don't know why just do. I carry a 22 with snake shot. I shot it before thinking about it.
  4. What is it?
  5. Whats is more amazing than the fact that he survived so many gun fights, is the fact he has a CCW in California.

    Rifle Porn!!

That is "Thor the Hammer of God". Seriouisly it is a Marlin 1895SS 45-70. It is amazingly accurate and can be loaded from mild to wild.

    Rifle Porn!!

    A few of my "Girls".
  8. When I went in I only thought I was going to pee in a cup. So I just pulled the pistol out of the holster and went in. Next thing I know I have to go see the Dr? I Did have a mag pouch with mag on.
  9. +1 on the PT145. Also check out the Dan Wesson CBOB.
  10. I went fo r a Drug Screening yesterday. It turned out to be a Drug/Physical. I left the gun in the car, but kept my holster on. Doc asked me to pull up my tshirt, ok. Whats that? A holster. Long pause..........OK. Next.
  11. ME TOO.
  12. The round is for a 7mm Mauser. It is an excellent round. I have a Ruger #1A in 7 x57 it is a great rifle. The SB is a 173 grain bullet at about 2400fps excellent round on deer. If you want to get rid of it let me know.
  13. O Boy, where to start. There have been many threads related to beginning reloading. I believe Lee makes a hand tool for reloading, but after about 10 rounds most people want to move up to a single stage press. As far as reloading for one round only. The basic equipment is universal to all rounds and you usually just get dies for the new calibers. I think you are right on the mark wanting to have someone show you the ropes. I would be glad to but you are quite a way off.
  14. So far my favorite load is 200gn Rem Coreloct over a load of Varget. I tried the Leverevolution but for the money I will stick with the CL's.
  15. I'm thinking Marlin 45-70.
  16. Dana Milbank writes in the Washington Post, "Pelosi is a woman of many talents. Yesterday, she performed the delicate art of backtracking while walking sideways." Love it.
  17. Got mine in last month. I don't expect to be picked but it would be a hoot! Now to decide which rifle to use!
  18. I was at Guns and Ammo in Memphis today. They had 3 bricks of large pistol primers. Only 48 bucks a brick.
  19. Parris Island in June. Have you ever experienced flying TEETH?
  20. You should be fine. I loaded a thousand rounds of 9mm using magnum primers (all I could find). I used MY standard load and it didn't cause any issues.
  21. If it keeps up you will be able to find a lot of reloading equipment very cheap. Right now components are so hard to find, you could have your press setup for weeks or months and not be able to reload a single round.
  22. A 9mm GD might expand, but a 45 GD won't contract.
  23. My point exactly. This is getting freakin nuts. Obama and friends are loving this, it makes us all look like a bunch nut cases. EVERYONE TAKE A DEEP BREATH, RELAX, and please stop acting like the apocalypse is upon us. If we don't, there will be an apocalypse on this this thing we enjoy so much.
