5 People Injured in Shooting Outside Beale Street Night Club|myEyewitnessNews.com, Memphis News, Entertainment, Videos, Business Search and Shopping Guess that it isn't working very well.

Varget is my go to powder for the 308.

Very Nice. Just wait till you shoot it. The more I shoot mine the more I like it. I was running some hand loads over the Chrony the other day. I shot a magazine through at a 100 yard target. Eight shots, eight hits on paper. I was shocked.

Won't change my behavior one bit. I am curious about the legality of posting city streets?

It isn't about speeding. It is about proper use of a highway. Slower traffic keeps left. It doesn't matter if you are doing the speed limit. If you are in the passing lane you should pass and then move to the right. I have lived in many places in the US, and Memphis is one of the worst for plain thoughtless driving.

Don't you mean scripted human behavior?

Sam Kinneson would love them. "I have to drink a six pack before I get home, just to keep from cutting your head off and stuffing in a camera bag." The reality TV BS is way over the top.

Thats cool. Now get out of the passing lane. It's for passing not pissing.

Doesn't look good. I am no gunsmith but I doubt you will be able to do much with it. Damn Shame.

I believe one of the DW gunsmiths recommends M1 for the break in.

Congratulations! You are going to like this pistol. Just a word about the DWCBOB. Before your first outing to the range some things to know. The CBOB is tight. Not overly so but it is tight. It is highly recommended that you field strip and clean. Then liberally lubricate, for the break in. I used Mobil 1 and now use slide glide, to each his own but do use lots. I have one. It is a thing of Beauty. It is my primary carry gun. COTEP all the way!

Crackberry Curve. My wife and I have them and they are great.

As long as it is chained to ATT. It is a no go for me. But the second it becomes available on Verizon, I would be in line.

Sorry I missed that "small" bit of information.

I did all the mods to my springer. Even fitting a new barrel. All done with hand tools. Like I said every piece I installed required some sort of fitting. Except maybe grips. None of it difficult it just takes some patience and research. Try digging around on this site, 1911Forum - Powered by vBulletin

I am no expert but I have put may thousands of rounds through my 1911's. My SA has had many "accessories" added. I don't know of too many 1911 accessories that don't take some sort of fitting. If your current pistol is reliable (feeds and ejects all ammo). I would second getting or doing a good trigger job. Also a good set of sights, though my Springer still has the stock sights. Next I would lay in several thousand rounds and shoot the snot out of it.

My email to Governor Phil Bredesen
Curiousgb replied to ngoeser59's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Looks alot like mine: June 3, 2009 Dear George: Thank you for contacting me about gun-related bills which have been considered by the General Assembly this year. Let me be very clear: I am a strong supporter of the right to keep and bear arms. I am, and have always been, committed to preserving the rights of the Second Amendment. They are basic American rights, protected by the United States Constitution and the Tennessee Constitution as well. Even so, these rights, for more than two centuries, have come with reasonable and necessary rules and guidelines. For this reason, I carefully consider each bill that reaches my desk and evaluate it on its own merits. As you know, I decided to veto House Bill 962, which would permit the possession of firearms in Tennessee restaurants and bars. In my view, this particular bill crossed the line of reason. I have been a gun owner for more than 50 years. When I was a young man, I took my first gun safety class-sponsored by the NRA-at my high school. There was one message conveyed during that class that has been imprinted on me since, and it was this: guns and alcohol don't mix. That is as true today as it was then. It is because of this principle that Tennessee state law has long prohibited the possession of firearms in places that serve alcohol. House Bill 962 would remove this safeguard in a manner that I, as well as many law enforcement officers, believe would be reckless and lacking safeguards to ensure public safety. A key role of government is to ensure public safety. To do that, government must strike a balance between the rights afforded to us by the Constitution and common-sense rules that must be applied to the exercise of these rights. I believe we can exercise our second amendment rights and common sense at the same time - and guns and bars simply don't mix. Because of this, I vetoed this bill and respectfully asked the legislature to rethink this issue. As other bills reach my desk-including legislation related to guns in parks, loaded firearms in automobiles, and others-I intend to review them carefully with both the Constitutional rights of gun owners and the safety of the general public in mind. Please be assured that your views are, and will remain, important to me on these issues and others related to state government. Warmest regards, Phil Bredesen -

Man has this post run a muck.

Where did you sign her up? If you are close to Range USA I highly recommend their women only class.

Good information. Can't remember how many times I have told people their flags are displayed incorrectly.

Oops, I am new here.
