  8. Outback's signature Mac'n'Cheese, ya know, for when the lil ones want the mac that you BOTH want. :D  I picked this up off of copykat.com     2 cups dry penne pasta 8 ounce Velveeta cheese 1/2 cup heavy cream Cook pasta according to package directions. Cube Velveeta in small pieces, so it can melt easily. In a small saucepan, combined cubed Velveeta cheese and heavy cream. Turn the heat on low and stir until all cheese is melted. Reduce the heat to simmer until you are ready to combine with the pasta. Once pasta is done, pour back into the pot where it was cooked; add sauce and mix well. To help keep the cheese from drying out too quickly add olive oil to noodles after straining.
  9. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-12-02/pirates-wielding-grenades-spur-japan-to-ease-samurai-era-gun-ban.html   Pirates wielding rocket-propelled grenades and AK-47s have prompted Japan to ease a samurai-era ban on civilians carrying guns, allowing guards on locally registered oil tankers to be armed for the first time. Shipping companies will be able to place security personnel with guns on the tankers when sailing through specified areas of the Indian Ocean and in and around the Gulf of Aden, where pirates have collected hundreds of millions of dollars by hijacking ships. The change in the law, which became effective Nov. 30 and only applies to oil vessels, marks the first time Japan has authorized civilians to carry automatic weapons. The change will allow an extra level of safety for the tankers, which are already protected by Japanese escort ships and patrol aircraft on routes to the Middle East. Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. (9107), Japan’s third-largest shipping line, aims to put armed guards provided by a U.K. company on locally registered tankers as early as this month, said Osamu Tanetani, a manager at the Tokyo-based company’s marine safety team. “Japan has finally caught up with the international norm,” said Seijiro Morimoto, a researcher at the Japan Maritime Center, which advocated early adoption of the system. “Combining the efforts of naval operations with private security guards is the most effective way to deter piracy.” Civilians in Japan have been barred from carrying guns, except for hunting weapons, under laws dating back to 1588, said Isami Takeda, professor of international relations in the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Dokkyo University in Soka, Japan. Ship Hijackings Japanese tankers registered overseas were already able to carry armed guards. Kawasaki Kisen, based in Tokyo, uses armed security personnel from a British company on its overseas-registered ships. The nation’s shipping lines have 16 locally registered oil tankers, according toThe Japanese Shipowners’ Association. Piracy has resurfaced as a menace disrupting international shipping and hurting regional economies, especially in and around the Gulf of Aden, between Somalia and Yemen. Groups using rocket-propelled grenades, AK-47s and tracking devices collected about $400 million from 179 ships hijacked from April 2005 to December 2012, according to a joint report by the World Bank, Interpol and the United Nations’ crime unit. China, India and Japan agreed to step up coordination and cooperation on naval escorts, taking turns to arrange a quarterly schedule, Xinhua News Agency reported February 2012. Nippon Yusen K.K. (9101), Japan’s largest shipping line, is considering putting armed guards on locally registered ships, said Koichi Akamine, a senior managing corporate officer at the Tokyo-based company. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (9104), the world’s largest merchant ship operator, is preparing to place armed security teams on Japan-registered tankers early next year, said Akimitsu Ashida, chairman of the Tokyo-based company. Armed security personnel will have to disembark before entering Japan’s ports.
  10. That's a simple yet brilliant marketing strategy.
  11. Three days earlier...     Jack stood at the foot of his sisters bed, looking at the her trying to understand what had transpired here. He had seen a message written on the white basement on his way in door saying 'Jack, head to RH' written with a sharpie pen. She laid there with her eyes shut, her black hair covering part of her face while the other part that was exposed looked peaceful without a care in the world. Jack looked at her crimson body, blood covered her from the neck down, several parts of her body had the meat completely removed from the structure of her body leaving only bone and sinew behind. Jacks eyes began to well up but he didn't sob, his eyes just poured tears like the rain that fell at that moment. Mike and Shirley stood behind Jack. They were both awe struck by what they had seen, the gruesome corpse that lay before them. Mike started to reach for Jack without turning to look at him Jack spoke, "Mike, don't @%&$ing touch me right now. I'm so pissed that I might hurt you..."   Before finishing he let out a blood curdling yell and threw his fist through the dry wall of his sisters room finding the wall stud on the other side, if it weren't for the carbon fiber reinforced glove he had on, his hand would be fairly mangled. He pulled his hand out and looked to down at it, "There wasn't a damned thing I could do about it, I just let her die as I played hero." Mike spoke up to him, "You were trying to help those people Jack..." Jack then cut him off, "And now they're all dead." Jack looked to his sisters corpse, "What little human that was left in me died with her." Jacks eyes no longer teared up but were bloodshot, behind that physical appearance were the eyes of a man defeated by the savagery that had become the world. Jacks heart now burned with a holy and righteous rage that made him feel almost reborn.
  12. Explain, you've piqued my curiosity. Now this is going off my limited knowledge but 6.8 was developed not as a total replacement of 5.56 but for a SBR application for military usage since 5.56 in a short barrel heavily compromises it's kinetic energy, right? 6.5 is a heavier slug but is more meant to be much more accurate at longer distances with an AR, is this correct or am I wrong? This is just from stuff I've heard about and one or two articles I've read. I'd like to hear it from someone who has actually used the rounds and/or loads them. ^_^
  13. My use is not going suppressed, such as with .300, but rather to just get a heavier slug down range in a AR platform which both will provide. In the higher end cartridges they're both relatively even in price but on the lower end 6.8 has it beat. I like AR10's BUT already have everything for a 5.56 platform so I just wanna stick with that. I've also heard you can convert the followers in 5.56 mags and make 25 round 6.8 mags, I assume this is true after seeing the Barrett 30 round mags look like a 40 round mag but I prattle. As I said, my main concern is just getting a heavier slug downrange but having the 5.56 mag capacity, I suppose I should've started with that but meh. :p
  14. What say you TGO? So far in my pros and cons, the 6.8 is a faster round with more inertia and is cheaper per round buying over the counter by about .30-.50 per round BUT the .300 can be made off of 5.56 and can use the 5.56 mags instead of the proprietary mags that need to be used with 6.8 and the bcg needing to be swapped as well is another increase in cost on the 6.8. What are your thoughts? Curses be upon this numbers game!!!!
  15. Term limits on all politicians federal and state level, limits on money that can be made in office, lobbyists get booted the F' outta Washington, and retirement funds are NOT 100% of your salary, if soldiers can't make that then neither can those bloodsuckers.
  16. I was laughing so hard when I first saw em that I thought my sides were gonna tear open.

  21. One week later...   Jack rounded the corner of a building that was the home of a flower shop and he almost lost his footing as the ground was slick from the rain that had drenched everything. There was a large older military truck just sitting in the middle of the road, Jack tried not to pay it much mind but the allure of a transport truck did more than pique his curiosity though he knew if the thing didn't start it would become his grave. He glanced once again over his shoulder to see that the creatures chasing him had all rounded the corner of the building, he then picked up his pace moving somewhat faster. Instead he bypassed the large vehicle, once he got by the truck, moving in front of it.    Once he cleared the passenger side he heard a voice call out, "Open up on em!!!" Jack then heard numerous thundering roars of firearms expelling high speed death. He stopped dead in his tracks and spun around to see four people in the back of the truck. He was in awe, it was like something out of a movie, he was almost on the verge of tears for how overjoyed he was to his rescuers. Jack thought to himself, 'Angels on high...'. The one who called out the commands then spoke to Jack without facing him, "Long time no see brotha." When the man turned around Jack couldn't believe his eyes, that his savior was his friend of many years Jeb, standing there holding a smoking PS90 with steam rising off it where water was evaporating from hitting the now super heated suppressor. The rest of the group turned around to face him, two of which were Tay and his wife. The last one brought tears to Jacks eyes he couldn't fathom who was standing before him, it was his sister of whom he had thought for dead.
  22. With that many exotic hot snakes, probably a good sum, I've heard the money is in collecting venom for anti-venoms but then, all that is would be my own unfounded conjecture.
  23.   Both? Man you've got more money than you know what to do with, share the wealth! ;)
  24. Magnify that sucka.
