No kidding! Maybe i should have complained more!

Well, I got my MSAR STG556 about two weeks ago and noticed that the BHO feature wasn't engaging correctly. I should add that I haven't shot the rifle yet and figured it might just be a break-in issue or a mag issue. It appeared that the mag follower wasn't engaging the BHO properly. I contacted MSAR customer service just to see if that was a known or easy remedy. Here is where I began to be impressed My e-mail was returned within 2 minutes of sending the original question. Mind you I wasn't upset as the BHO isn't a big issue for me. My follow up questions were answered in the same quick fashion and Dave offered several tips to try to remedy the issue. It was like Dave at MSAR was sitting there waiting for my questions. My last comment was that I'd just take it to the range and see if the issue corrected itself. I was satisfied with that. Well, today UPS shows up with a package from MSAR?! I opened it and low and behold he sent me a brand new trigger pack and a 42 rnd amber mag ........ FREE! Are you kidding me!? That is what I call customer service. I can't imagine what they would have done had I been upset or had a real significant issue. I was becoming an MSAR fan just based on the quality of the rifle, but now I am a die hard MSAR fan!

You buy it directly from them and then have it shipped to your local dealer who does the transfer.

Are some lying? Absolutely, but i think a lot are probably just regurgitating what they are fed. The thing I've noticed about science is that like just about any other life discipline, the majority of people tend to be lazy and trusting of others information. Just think how many times debates around here use facts that start with "well my brother's best friends girlfriends father was in Seal Team Six and he said ...........":D

Just got one of these for my MSAR STG556 and so far I really like it. I was having trouble deciding between all the different versions and styles, but I'm glad I went with the "Giles" sling. It is sort of a 2 point/3 point type sling that holds the weapon in perfect positions. I say it plural because it is very versatile without compromising between carry positions. The quick detach buckle makes it easy to get on and off and it's design makes it to where it is fairly short so it doesn't hang down to get in the way. The only drawback on the MSAR is that because the front sling mount is just ahead of the charging handle it tends to get in the way a bit. I don't think it will be a problem though. I'll try to get some pictures up later, but here are some till then.

I like it and I don't usually like basket weave. That looks good. How does it fit and wear?

Yeah, my question wasn't to beat up on people for their grieving, I was just wondering if there was some pop culture origin or if it was just something that people randomly picked up. I saw it mostly in the black communities then it seemed to be all over. I just find it rather interesting and curious.:-\

It does come in .223, but you may have to order it.

I've always had good results with Centerfire. That's a heck of a deal, considering it also includes shipping. IIRC they are Century builds so the quality may be iffy, but I'd feel better knowing it came via Centerfire

Pretty good reporting IMO. I wasn't expecting that. Especially the interview. Of course since the others declined, he may have been the only one left!

Just curious as to what the deal is with the memorials folks are putting in their car windows for lost loved ones. Not trying to be disrespectful just curious. Seems like I used to see them in mainly bad neighborhoods in rough looking cars with odd names like "RIP Biggie Big". I just equated it with the shoes on the power lines kinda thing. Latley I'm seeing them all over in all types of vehicles. What's the deal?

No, I gotta ya. It's just that Joe was a plumber. The Docs could be questionable. Otherwise I knew where you were going. I'll leave it at that.
-
I think your making assumptions. Those aren't parallel jokes anyway. Joe was just a normal guy the Dems went after for lib points and it backfired on them. The administration has already had one "health care" press shoot where folks were handed lab coats regardless of if they were verified Ph D's or not. Many weren't.

Seriously?

Not sure I understand your reference?

I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't real doctors!

I've not heard anything bad about them.

Very nice! I'd like to get me one of those one day.

I'm guessing these kinds of threads are the quickest way to up your post count!

It's great ammo. Some of the most accurate com bloc stuff out there, so everyone says. It is corrosive though, so keep that in mind and clean good.

I think it just goes to show that the more we know the more we realize how little we know. Thing about science is that it is constantly correcting and adjusting what it "knows"..... if it is honest. Things always change but to ascribe us as being able to create or destroy something that we can not control is the height of arrogance. I would be happy if we could stop just one devastating Tsunami, one 8.8 earthquake, or even one Hurricane. You know I'd be happy if we could just predict one of these things. To think we can predict what will happen in 100 years from now when we can't predict current events seem backwards. NASA has some sharp guys, but they have shown they make many miscalculations. Thats not a knock on them just the nature of the beast.

He doesn't make the rules ....... yet! I'll be worried when post start coming up missing.

There are plenty of caliber debate threads so no need to dump in the OP's thread when it has nothing to do with his question. There is a reson your beloved Glock sells more G17's and G19's than any other models. There is no wonder bullet or caliber. They all have pluses and minuses. Many a man has been stopped and not stopped by 9mm ......... as well as .40, 357 Sig, .45, etc. BTW the some +p and +p+ 9mm loads are equal and in some cases have higher velocity than the .357 Sig.
