  1. They do say original owner, but I know they will probably go ahead and warranty it. Just call them up and don't mention it unless you have to. they are the best at taking care of their products.
  2. Can't remember the link, it was somewhere on http://forum.saiga-12.com/. A guy used some modified bolt cutters to press rivets and said it worked great.
  3. I think most anti's assumption is that we carry looking to take take life. In fact, it is the exact opposite. I carry to protect life. I was recently asked if as a LEO I could take a life, my response, that's a choice someone else has to make. In other words the BG makes the decision to assault me or my family, I simply respond. Conviction of character (as well as right and wrong) needs to be resolved before something happens and not after. In many counseling situations, I've discovered the folks who struggle with things had a lot of self doubt before they made the decisions they did. My point, these are questions you need to wrestle with before you decide to carry, because once you make that decision, you have already decided you can and will take life if necessary.
  4. What's the point? Can't see a lot of positives coming from this or the other sites like it. IMO it's the downside to the internet. A place for unsubstantiated allegations by anonymous people - both good and bad. I reject the premise for some of these ideas that the police have to be kept in check in this manner. Most of these people want total "freedom" (read no accountability) yet demand to be as invasive as they like into everybody else's business. Kinda do as I say not as I do thing. Yes there needs to transparency, just don't think this is the right way to foster goodwill on either part. Rant over.
  5. I don't know about that. Maybe that FN 5.7 round would be good to get through all the layers of "clothes" most of them wear, plus they are usually liqueured up. I know, cause I run them out of our parking lot (a favorite drinking spot) and they usually head to the Library.

What did ya mean by "first legal weapon"? BTW Welcome, I had access to a Beretta Cougar compact .40, but I don't know if it is still available.
  7. +1. Yep.
  8. Then you need to brush up on your ninja skills! Mine are so adept girls can't even see me!
  9. When I go into the one on Nolensville road, I always hear the song "You know where you are? Your in the Jungle baby!". It's the closest and biggest "jungle" we have!
  10. Happy for you!
  11. I had a PF9, that I really liked. Got for the same reason you are thinking about. However, I decided to sell it and just carry my Hi-Power and FNP9. The reason is the PF9 is not a range gun (Practice) and does take some extra attention (grip, sights, ect) to get the little sucker ready to go on target, as compared to a fullsize. I felt in stress it might cost me too much attention. I get a lot more range time and confidence with the larger guns. I also found that most of the time I can find a fairly easy way to carry the fullsize without much problem.
  12. I was the same way when i first started carrying, I was very paranoid! everyone was looking at me like I was going to go on a rampage! Then after printing several times, I realized nobody really notices. Folks are so consumed with their own stuff, thy aren't looking for a gun. Heck, I get run over by people all the time in the store that didn't even see ME! My wife doesn't even know when I'm carrying most of the time and see looks at me a lot. At least I hope she still does!

Obviously a studio! everyone knows we can't really get into outer space. Just more lies from the government so that they can fund Halliberton and the Bush empire! seriously though, those are beautiful pictures.
  14. Stephen Camp is the Hi-Power expert. I've enjoyed and learned a lot of information from his site.
  15. I figure if i need more than one full mag, two ain't gonna do much more.
  16. try http://www.1337tactical.com/shop/productlist.php?typeId=1 . It is cheap and works. I've used on for a while and never had any problem with it. The SPOT optics have nothing but good reviews and they run about $140.
  17. That's cause they actually used clips to load the magazine. Dang newfangled technology!
  18. You know they can't have "dangerous" guns at 18, but the government will allow them to operate a 2000 lb missile at 70 MPH at age 16? I love the government!
  19. Than you very much! I love my freedom.
  20. I found with a full size, like the XD service, I had to carry at 2 oc to prevent printing. With shorter grips I can carry at 4 oc. Mostly though I carry at 2 oc as it works the best all around.
  21. I think I've abused this excuse about as much as I can with the wife! I was able to add a AK-103, Saiga 12, AR 6.8 SPC, FNP-9, and a FN Hi-Power .40 S&W to the collection this year. Now I just need a few more HP mags, 6.8 SPC mags, and of course ammo.
  22. No it is an option.
  23. Beautiful rifle!
  24. Why? It's like a redundant of a redundant.
  25. Curving the bullet? Absolutely, but you have to have a Glock! I heard about it on Glocktalk.com and AR15.com Sorry, couldn't resist.
