  1. I told her that and she said you're right. She was mistaken. She's seen people drink them but didn't know what went in them.
  2. I asked my daughter, who's a karaoke DJ at a bar, about this "drink" if you will. She said that it's supposed to taste like milk chocolate although she's never tried it. I'll still pass.
  3. OMG! That's nasty!
  4. Since I've never heard of it other than in the context of a truck that mixes cement, no.
  5. Ties are a communist plot!!!
  6. True, but people don't tend to hold it in their mouth.
  7. The stomach holds content for around 20 minutes, but alcohol can absorb strait through the stomach lining.
  8. Been several decades since I was a certified BA instructor but I seem to recall that someone my size of 230 lbs, (that was waaay back then), would blow a .10% on 6 beers.
  9. I disagree with your statement that it's an irrational fear. The most likely candidate, Biden, came right out and said just this week that he's coming after our guns.
  10. As a former LEO I can assure you that she has not - particularly when she finds out that the police can't hold him.
  11. Well, if she was in fear of her life do you really think she's going to provoke him by selling his while he's detained?
  12. I was referring to a copy and paste into the thread from my computer; not Photobucket. I have no idea where you're getting Amazon at.
  13. Thanks. Yes, it's a necked down case so 6.8 bolt and mags. I picked up a couple of 10-round mags for it too. Apparently, the magazine manufacturer can make a slight difference in OAL according to the YouTube video of a guy that was comparing the 6.5 twist versus the 7 twist on 18" barrels. I have the former with a 22" barrel, however. I should have no problems with heavy bullets.
  14. It worked in the thread that I started:
  15. It seems that Photobucket is trying to force us into paying for their use now. I just learned that we can post pictures directly into the forum so I'm doing that from now on.
  16. I experienced the same with oyster soup. It looked like testicles floating around in milk with my mother claiming, "It's good...eat it!"
  17. I finally was able to finish my .224 Valkyrie build. This is my first solo AR build. The main parts are: CMMG lapped upper & Anderson lower with Suregrip tactical deluxe grip and Magpul RS Gen 3 stock Geissele Hi-Speed National Match Trigger. Wilson Combat .224 Valkyrie Super Sniper, 22" SS barrel with Precision Armament M11-SPR-5.56 compensator and Troy Industries low-profile gas block. Brownell's 6.8mm Nitride BCG with Geissele Super charging handle BCM MCMR 15 handguard w/M-loc UTG Recon Fles Bipod Total cost of the build without the scope and mount that I already had was just under $1,800. I can't wait to get some rounds loaded up for it and try it out!
  18. Ummmm, green beans with ham and new potatoes.
  19. Then they have no right to be upset over semantics.
  20. All of their stupid rules are convoluted it seems. In this case a rifle is a weapon that shoots a cartridge designed for a rifle; not a "real" pistol. So how is a weapon that has a barrel under 16" and fires a pistol caliber considered a SBR because it has a stock on it? How does the stock somehow make the pistol's bullet more deadly? I'm not talking about more accurate, but even so, isn't it best to be more accurate in self-defense? Does that not risk fewer lives?
  21. It's a pistol brace, (like Sig's), that extends like a rifle stock but with greater LOP than the Sig pistol brace by several inches. I'm 6'4" and the Sig pistol brace was uncomfortably short. The SBA4 is meant for an AR pistol but I have an adapter to attach it to the rail that is located on the rear of the MPX. Sig actually recommended this solution when I asked about extending the Sig brace. You can buy aftermarket rods to make the standard Sig brace longer but the roll pins that hold the rods in place are under the rubber of the brace making it very difficult to replace the rods without damaging the rubber. It does not become an SBR because it's just a longer pistol brace. Here's a picture of the difference between the two. Although it looks like the SBA4 is like a normal stock, the entire bottom is plasticized rubber that splits apart to wrap around the forearm.
  22. I have a Sig MPX pistol and I am replacing the brace with a longer version from SB tactical called the SBA4. It extends like a collapsible buttstock.
  23. May be? I think the recent clashes with Antifa have made it a certainty.
  24. For those of you wanting to pound on Trump, he ain't the only one: https://www.foxnews.com/media/sen-toomey-says-background-check-loopholes-must-be-closed-wont-back-assault-weapons-ban While I understand those that don't want to budge an inch, the reality is that either you budge a little or society will force you to budge a lot.
  25. And another one over night: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/at-least-9-dead-16-injured-in-mass-shooting-in-downtown-dayton-police-say/ar-AAFjOhi?ocid=spartandhp Are these wacko's organizing?
