  1. IN All we need now is a vendor to score a shipment of 5.56 for us at reasonable...for the times prices
  2. Sounds like slander to me. Wonder what 225,000 lawsuits would do to their ideals
  3. Summer...winter....1911 is the answer for all seasons. IWB, 5.11 pants...no problems at all
  4. that thing sounds like a pellet gun
  5. Those of us that live in our cars will have to buy "carbon credits" from some welfare hag sitting around collecting money for squirting out baby after baby from various baby daddies just to make service calls. That means our prices will have to go up in order to pay for all the added expenses. Small businesses will fire the low hanging fruit, which will put more carbon credits on the market for people to buy. Wonder how hard it will be to fake carbon credits? Wonder it it'll be like a WIC debit card...nahh...just a chip embedded in your forehead Can someone tell me again why we're not in the streets with pitchforks
  6. I'll say it again. ITS THE FLU If they want to scare me...they'll have to give it a different name...like SARS or some other really cool sounding name. Granted I don't want the flu...swine or otherwise, but damn...it's the flu.
  7. Wasn't there a case where WalMart was sued due to lack of security in their parking lots and the citizen won?
  8. good thing about Clarksville...it's only an hour away from nashville. Easy drive. Once you get settled in and hang your shingle. Youll be able to expand your market. there are a couple of smiths in the middle Tn area...but there's always room for more. Once you get your name out there, people won't mind driving
  9. Thats just begging for Sportsman 351 475 HP
  10. You might do better to start your own shop. Seems that you might be able to work for several gun shops in the area instead of locking yourself into one shop. I know the guy in Gallatin...Sam..whatshisname gets referrals from numerous gunshops. Startup costs and operating capital might suck, but longer term you might end up better off.
  11. BZZZZZZZZZZT...sorry...thanks for playing. Men At Work.
  12. Dave, I have a complete LWRC AR...runs great. Can't really tell that much difference in DI and the piston design, but it's a nice shooting rife all the same. Seems like what little recoil there is feels different, kind of slower... I have a POF 9.5in gas upper for my SBR build as well.
  13. Look at that ...soemone threw away a perfectly good white boy.

If I was working for someone else, then I'd at least be getting some money. Too many people seem to think they can get tech support on net 120 terms.

  20. Serpas's office called Tuesday, paperwork was ready. Went to Wednesday and picked it up. 9 out of the 10 days 'he has to sign paperwork" don't know if that's a policy or a law, just what I was told on the phone. Next step, sell some hobo's kidney for the 200.00 tax to the ATF

ABC TURNS PROGRAMMING OVER TO OBAMA; NEWS TO BE ANCHORED FROM INSIDE WHITE HOUSE On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care -- a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm! Highlights on the agenda: ABCNEWS anchor Charlie Gibson will deliver WORLD NEWS from the Blue Room of the White House. The network plans a primetime special -- 'Prescription for America' -- originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate. Late Monday night, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a complaint to the head of ABCNEWS: Dear Mr. Westin: As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with ABC's astonishing decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue on June 24, 2009. Next Wednesday, ABC News will air a primetime health care reform “town hall†at the White House with President Barack Obama. In addition, according to an ABC News report, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WORLD NEWS, NIGHTLINE and ABC’s web news “will all feature special programming on the president’s health care agenda.†This does not include the promotion, over the next 9 days, the president’s health care agenda will receive on ABC News programming. Today, the Republican National Committee requested an opportunity to add our Party's views to those of the President's to ensure that all sides of the health care reform debate are presented. Our request was rejected. I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers. In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime. Respectfully, Ken McKay Republican National Committee Chief of Staff ABCNEWS Senior Vice President Kerry Smith on Tuesday responded to the RNC complaint, saying it contained 'false premises': "ABCNEWS prides itself on covering all sides of important issues and asking direct questions of all newsmakers -- of all political persuasions -- even when others have taken a more partisan approach and even in the face of criticism from extremes on both ends of the political spectrum. ABCNEWS is looking for the most thoughtful and diverse voices on this issue. "ABCNEWS alone will select those who will be in the audience asking questions of the president. Like any programs we broadcast, ABC News will have complete editorial control. To suggest otherwise is quite unfair to both our journalists and our audience. 22. The authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce in basic materials does not include authority to regulate firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition made in Tennessee from those materials. Firearms accessories that are imported into Tennessee from another state and that are subject to federal regulation as being in interstate commerce do not subject a firearm to federal regulation under interstate commerce because they are attached to or used in conjunction with a firearm in Tennessee. Based on that I'd think it would just cover the "accessory" I'm happier than hell that it passed, but until someone with deep pockets tests the law, I don't think we will see much change. I don't think we'll be going into Guns and Leather and picking up suppressors next to the holsters.
  23. Run by Greene Military on Lebanon Road. They have tons of 5.11 in stock. I've never really LOOKED for womens pants, but I'm sure they have them.
  24. It never really crossed my mind.He didn't give me any hassle on my AOW paperwork. I'm not even sure he looks at it. I'd bet he has one of his many people do it. He has 10 business days according to the lady on the other end of the phone. IF he gives me any grief, then I'll go the trust route. I'll have have to redo the paperwork and have another lower engraved, not a big deal. When I picked up my Infidel lower I had planned on SPRing that one, but forgot that when temple showed me a box full of nice new lowers from Spikes :-)
