Not sure how that works but from my under standing his lawyers had some papers to file with the state thay said for the state to reimburse them , being George was found not guilty , the burden of the fees fell on the state to pay . And far as the 400,000 if you think about it he had to live in hideing for over a year with body guards that prob sucked up any and all the money not including his bail fees . And his down payment to the lawyers to take the case even . I can only guess .
