  1. Got my micro rig in today. Will be ordering more OSOE stuff when I can.
  2. He told it like it is. No BS from him.
  3. That's exactly what it was for. Reid said that if we have to use our gun it definitely won't be on a square range. There are good people you'd have to shoot past.
  4. I've know about all that. I'm sure he's a great guy and all but there's a reason I didn't go to TR. TR also seems like it's gone to hell after Reid left. I'll stop thread crapping now.
  5. I'll be interested to hear or see your results. Handgun hunting is something I have wanted to get into.
  6. It only applies in international conflicts between two or more nations.
  7. Once it gets in your blood it's hard to get away from. As much as I don't want to like it it is the only thing that makes me relax. Shooting is that way generally but trap, skeet, and sporting clays are where (at the moment) I am at home.
  8. Who on here shoots trap, skeet, or sporting clays? I shoot all three disciplines.
  9. That's the reason I didn't order a cop rig is that I didn't know when I would have it.
  10. Does a meth lab exploding count as personal fireworks? I think it could be a good display for the community.
  11. I haven't had any luck with the Hornady stuff but I also shoot a bolt gun. I think that gun is also supposed to be run with the new CCI ammo. It is not holding the same zero as the other ammo we were shooting in it. I also wasn't impressed with the terminal performance when compared to other rounds. But it's like this: yes the animal is dead but it could have been messier/more impressive. If I remember I like the CCI a lot more but I'll check what brand when I get back home.
  12. I'm talking either a tactical response class or a valor ridge class. I could do what you mentioned but I'd prefer not to. I've had to do stuff like that too often because people either wouldn't buy me or them the stuff we needed. So if I can help it I'll buy some gear that will make a class easier.
  13. On the shotgun that I have I'm limited to what I can do. I already have a Mesa Tactical side saddle which holds 4 rounds. I think I'll do without the buttcuff. I hate those things.
  14. Yeah pics and info are appreciated. I'll also take a look at your AAR if/when you do one.
  15. So if I were going to take a "tactical" or "fighting" shotgun class what would be the gear/rig to purchase to hold my shells? From my research the only two options for me are both made by SOE. These are the cop rig and shotgun micro rig. Input from people who have one of these rigs or have taken a shotgun class is greatly appreciated. http://survivalgearbags.com/coprigbyorso.html http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/tactical-apparel/gear/12-ga-micro-rig-h-harness-prod45031.aspx
  16. Dang that's a good deal. If only I didn't have a loader and I had some spare paper.
  17. Everything I've shot has only taken one shot. My father has even more experience than I do with it. He's shot about everything you can with it.
  18. No it stays in. Small entrance but absolutely devastating. I killed one a week for a month at over 150 yards. My longest kill was out to 275.
  19. The round is absolute hell on foxes.
