  1. This applies to all places with toilets. HOWEVER, it is especially important that there are no accidental discharges in restaurants where alcohol is served because guns & alcohol don't mix. If one were to drop there firearm in say, WalMarts rest room, no big deal simply because no alcohol was being served and the dropper was not consuming. Although, dropping at home, well, that's a whole new thread....
  2. Mike's/Randy's the names are close.....thank you, I did mean Randy's. Seem's like with as many people that work there, if RANDY goes on vacation the business would continue on, but one never knows. Another one of those things that make you go "hummmmm"
  3. Just a word of caution to all soon to be restaurant carriers: Make sure that when you go to the rest room, make sure your pistol is securely attached to its holster. you don't want to drop your pistol in the toilet when pulling up your pants. i can't tell you how many times i have sent my phone swimming like that. so please, PLEASE, be careful. we do not want any accidental (excuse me - unnecessary discharges) in these public places.
  4. Anybody know what up with Mike's Guns & Knives in Knoxville on Broadway. Been there for the last two days and they have been closed. Has it closed or something? Just curious.
  5. its a great day for me because i awoke face up in bed and not face down on pavement. its a great day for me because i woke up....I have survived another one its a great day for me because i had a hot dog with chili for lunch its a great day for me because i pooped today its a great day for me because Penguins are going to destroy Red Wings in game 4 tonight of the Stanley Cup Finals

  8. vegas bookmakers say Pens in 6....so there:p
  9. I will remind each of you the comments made on this thread when Sid the Kid raises that cup over his head after winning the cup this year. The world is full of people who doubt the ability of youth. Mark it down, the ftncityfatboy says Pens in 6!!!
  10. what's more entertaining than a bunch of high paid athletes swinging sticks around and hitting a little black thingy??? and what other sport can guys get into fights and the only punishment received is getting to rest for 5 minutes??? Geezz
  11. the good citizens of the TGO forum have caused me to see past my warped sense of humor. I can now see this from other perspectives and obviously this was not the right thing to do. I have repented....my sister is a mean and cruel person, skilled in the art of intimidation. I am going to tell her she was in the wrong and if she ever does that again I'll tell mom.
  12. Detroit has the payroll for great players no doubt. They are an extremely strong team, gotta love em. I wonder if "O" will get involved with hockey ownership, being its in Detroit, car manufacturing in Detroit, oh never mind....
  13. now thats not right......
  14. as much as it sounds uncalled for, usually people know when a repair person is going to make a visit to their location. Maybe this was not a "funny" story as I posted. Look at it this way: Woman on vacation with mom & pop, someone rings the doorbell, doesn't identify himself "Hi, I'm so and so with abc pest control...I'm here to spray for bugs", just a generic uniform and bug can. now call me crazy, but this could have been anyone and not being given any advance notice of the visit, just didn't seem professional to me. I could see her fear, yet I also see your point. However, I guess my point now is: if you just show up and don't call ahead of time, don't expect a warm welcome. The bug man most likely would not have gotten this kind of welcome had he shown a little professional courtesy.
  15. a question i would expect from someone with a gopher with a gun for an avatar.
  16. Pens fan all the way. Remember back to back cups in early 90's. Been Pens fan for LONG time. Hated to see them give up the first game.
  17. being from out of town and she didn't know exactly who he was, can't say i blame her. anyway, i thought it was funny... OS-my avatar is the Stanley Cup - the holy grail of hockey
  18. my sister was vacationing in North Carolina this past week. During the day while she was at the condo with mom & pop, someone rang the door bell over and over and over.....she peeked out the window to see who it was, some fellow dressed in uniform with pest control can. she cracked the door and the guy says "pest control, i need to come in and spray". she says "wait one minute". she goes into her bedroom and retrieves her springfield xd-9, returns to the door, opens it and allows the fellow in. as he's passing her, she chambers a round and the guy almost freezes. she puts the pistol in her pocket with the butt end just sticking out. she followed him around telling him which rooms were occupied and to not enter and she said he couldn't get the bug juice sprayed fast enough. he was hitting baseboards, walls, carpet, anything & everything. she said he then made a very quick exit. I wonder if he had a wet spot around the crotchal area???
  19. good ridance to Leno, never liked him. Watched tonight show till carson gave it up. switched to letterman. really don't like conan, this will be the beginning of the end for the tonight show....JMTCW
  20. Hornady XTP 124 grain JHP
  21. i'm not sure there is "too many times" to reload. you do want to always check your brass for cracks, bulges, etc. I have reloaded some of mine and shot it at least 5/6 times. it always goes bang. keep checking the OAL, at some point you may have to trim the case down.
  22. shot the dog and forget the pipe....just kidding. Clamp pipe down, drill small hole, then drill larger hole.
  23. hum...
  24. hum, pixs didn't post. guess I'll have to figure this out.
