  1. I didn't see a mirror/reflection device. Thought it might be good for long distance communication/come get me the hell outta here device. :)
  2. Woodland Hills Event Center  10000 Woodland Hills Drive Cordova TN, 38016   $70 a head($200ea. for the table special). Haven't read it all yet but seems like the 2nd amendment table package looks like a pretty good deal if you are gonna raffle and can find 9 others.  I am in the middle of moving and doing a yard sale shortly and all of this would have to fall into place for me to attend(fingers are crossed).   https://www.friendsofnra.org/eventtickets/Events/Details/44?eventId=51317   pdf. links:   https://eventtracker.friendsofnra.org/EventDocs/51317_MemphisFNRABanquet.pdf   https://eventtracker.friendsofnra.org/EventDocs/51317_TN-02MemphisFreedomPkg.pdf   https://eventtracker.friendsofnra.org/EventDocs/51317_TN-02PatriotSuporterPkg.pdf   https://eventtracker.friendsofnra.org/EventDocs/51317_TN-02BillofRightsTable.pdf   https://eventtracker.friendsofnra.org/EventDocs/51317_TN-02SecondAmendmentPkg.pdf
  3. the actual gun needs to be in your cart for it to work.   NVM, i see you tried compact
  4. When I see something on ebay, I check to see if I can find it cheaper on google and sometimes do. I didn't go through the whole check out process but it showed $4.95 and free shipping/tax. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/shoulder-strap-green/263883282.html?listingId=337797544&sclid=pla_google_WeGotBetterDeals&adid=29963&rmatt=tsid:1012713%7ccid:247411609%7cagid:14868890329%7ctid:aud-63219930917:kwd-81832363009%7ccrid:60879544129%7cnw:g%7crnd:12305806117752313366%7cdvc:c%7cadp:1o1&gclid=Cj0KEQjw4NmvBRCRp_yu2bzal4YBEiQAWfjpJnQiVVULmU4qwVb_WAPqW2WYtQL2LkdU74J8bre0tdAaAvOX8P8HAQ     Hell, it's only $5. I'll try the whole dealio and see if it's 4.95 delivered.   I placed the order, google popped up and said it was a trusted site and insured my purchase also. Now I wait and see...   I don't know much about this stuff but saw they have other interesting items like this lower kit. Again, I don't know much but thought I'd post just in case it was a good deal. They had others too but this is free shipping. Lemme know if any of this other stuff is good and/or priced right?    http://www.rakuten.com/prod/lower-parts-kit-ar15-gunbuilder-s-kit-ca/270376469.html
  5.   I can't find the story link but they are still dumb also. There was a man that got shot and killed by a woman when he broke into her house. Turns out he and a buddy broke into this same house 2 years ago and one of them got shot in the arm and both arrested for it.   I always wondered how they got up the nerve to enter someones home knowing that there's a very good chance the homeowner owns a gun, let alone going to the same house that you got shot at before.
  6. Dunno if right place to post this but seems like a really good deal to let TGO's know about.   I tested this code and works. If you put this gun in to your cart and add code, it'll drop price to $314.   It's normally $349 at Buds but save $35 with code. Type code in all caps:  SAVE35   I really think if this is here in 2 weeks it could very well be one of my first gun purchases, but am still working on getting into my new place and all.   Hope this helps anyone looking for a M&P   http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411555599/S%26W+Police+Trade+M%26P40+15%2B1+40S%26W+4.25%22+w+3+Mags+%26+Night+Sights   Again, I am just trying to help with a good deal and hope this is ok to post here?   Here is the slickguns link where the code is from and some comments from others that used it. You don't need to go here to use it but I thought some may want to see some comments. One guy had a bad deal but turned out being ok for him.   http://www.slickguns.com/product/sw-police-trade-mp40-151-40sw-425-w-3-mags-night-sights-314-coupon-code-35offscf#comments
  7. Yeah, I remember when the damn ice cream industry went to .4332282736/gal. containers or whatever it was  :yuck:
  8. I've been doing quite a bit of research on covering myself for self defense mishaps(runaway bullets, convict everyone type DA's, etc...) the past 2 days and it is tough finding real information(not the biased stuff written because the reporter was paid)r. I know this is an old post but I always see the do a search first rule but also wasn't sure if I should leave this necro alone, so I just continued this  :surrender:.   I myself am just looking for a way to get a lawyer immediately to help me IF it ever comes to looking like ANY charges might be brought against me. If it does ever happen. The only things I'm maybe worried about is that stray bullet or liars(surviving ofc) for example and the unknown. For me so far, this sounds like "The Network" but not totally sold yet. I'm still doing a bunch of reading on every possible avenue.     It took me forever to find but I came across USCCA's policy(Member resource guide) they send to members. I just wanted to post it here for anyone that likes reading this stuff and maybe can explain it in easier form for others that are looking for piece of mind insurance type options?   https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/pdf/USCCA-Member-Resource-Guide_Web.pdf   I do need to read this because what I read yesterday from them and what I read today seems to have changed overnight and puzzled me somewhat.
  9. Austin Peay wally world in Memphis has Blazer 22lr, 3 box limit. looked like they had about 15- 20 customers worth.

  11. Sorry, I just saw this section today or would have posted this sooner. I'll be going down here after I pick up some donuts for my awesome sister. It's from 10-4 and looks like it could be fun.  2779 Whitten rd. Memphis ...and here's the link:   https://www.friendsofnra.org/State.aspx?sid=44&cid=1166
  12. I am interested, October/November would be good timing for me as I plan to be schooled and ready to go around this time. It's a 3 hour drive for me but straight up 40 so shouldn't be too bad. I'll be following this and post my final plans as the time nears.
  13. Hello all, I am in my mid 40's. Originally from Florida but lived here in Bartlett for about 5 years. I've been seriously wanting to get into guns now that I don't drink anymore. I've always had the know that it wasn't a good idea to own a gun while I got hammered more days a week than not.       I've been living with my sister here because of a back injury but will be getting a place of my own in October and then taking the proper steps in finding the correct firearm(s). I have a job lined up and once I get this motorcycle sold, I should be good to get started. I plan on going to Range USA for some safety classes and eventually for HCP. I've been reading and researching a lot on the proper/safe ways to get started. My passion seems to be aiming me towards semi-auto pistols.      I can hardly wait to get the intro to handguns class under my belt, start renting guns and find the right one for me but luckily for me, I have always been a patient person.      I am also very interested in reloading as a hobby and ofc to save money. I have been doing some research on this and it seems like a brass ton of fun and again with proper safety and training.      Well for starters, this is me in a nutshell and again am looking forward to joining this friendly and helpful community. I'll be more than happy to answer/reply to any questions or comments you all have for me.  :usa:
