It coming down really hard in Gallatin. I believe they finally got one right. I believe it wasn't supposed to stick until this afternoon and its sticking on the roads here. I wouldn't be shocked if we end up with 6+ inches which factoring the northern/southern snow conversion chart puts this as the equivalent of ten feet in The North. Stay safe. CZs are way more affordable (even their higher end stuff compared to a high end Sig). They fit a bit better with me, and they dont fail.   THIS ^^^^^   I don't have giant hands and the CZ grip is absolutely perfect in my hand.  My thumb hits the decocker with ease.  I can flip the slide release easily with my thumb and it all feels so natural.  My grip position stays very firm and in place when handling the gun.  I think whoever designed the CZ must have had the same exact hands that I do!  It couldn't fit any better.  Even the stock grips seem like they have been molded for my hands.     Serrations on the slide are a bit... aggressive.   I would think that a guy with big meat hooks would have a hard time gripping it well and feeling comfortable considering how well it fits me.  

I would buy local if the gun is in stock and not ridiculous. I just have a hard time finding what I want. I'd never fondle a gun at the store and waste their time if I was buying online. That's just not cool. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

You won't save a dime! You'll just shoot more. Which is good! I'm going to start reloading this year as well. Several reasons. 1. I'd like to load lighter rounds for IDPA 2. I want to shoot more so I need cheaper ammo. 3. Not that I'm worried but what if you can't get commercial ammo? That's a good reason to have the know how. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

I had one and sold it as fast as I could. Does the extended barrel help with cycling? My P22 was about as unreliable as it gets. At least one maybe two fail to eject in every mag. I've tried many types of ammo and nothing works well in it for me. I have a Ruger Mark 3 so the P22 served real no purpose and I let it go for $200. Only paid $240 new. I've seen Ruger Mark 3's on Gun Broker for $250 new. I love mine. It's fun to plink with and very accurate. It's much more reliable than my P22 was.

I actually just discovered CZ's.  My first hand gun purchase was Feb 2015.  Don't know how I missed the CZ in my initial research.  I ended up with a Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm.     It's a good carry gun (a little bulky), but it was the purpose I was looking for then.     I shot a CZ Shadow at IDPA last week and it was the sweetest gun I've every fired.     My CZ 75 SP-01 Tactial will arrive tomorrow.  Couldn't afford the Shadow, but I got the next best thing.  The base to build the Shadow from.   I read tons of best 9mm full size reviews and I don't recall seeing the CZ 75 being anything other than first on every list.  I had a really tough time just finding the tactical in 9mm.  That was a good sign to me.  It meant the gun was in extremely high demand.  Never liked Sigs because they feel funny in my hand.  To each his own though.  I myself can't shoot a Glock worth a crap.  I hate the way they feel, but millions of owners can't be wrong.  They are good guns.  Just not good for me.  I don't get into the my gun is better than yours crap.

Yup. I just went to the Rivergate Walmart this morning looking for .22lr and opted for my competition holster! Nothing but Dicks had .22 LR Winchester. 1000 rounds $69. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

I've had difficulty finding certain models right now. Im sure it's the Christmas effect. I checked 52 online dealers for a CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical. Nothing! Luckily I was smart enough to add myself to about 40 wait lists and got a call two days later. The shop got nine in and I got the last one. The store shelves look pretty bare in my area but it's filling back up slowly. The big box stores were really picked over. And why is Springfield releasing tons of new models after Christmas? So true. How much trouble is it? Some police are just jerks. Some are great people but if asked I'm whipping out the permit no matter how much of a jerk he or she is being. Then I record their badge number and call their boss. I carry OWB occasionally. Mostly just when heading to an IDPA match but occasionally when out and about. It's never really out there in the open though. I have on either a jacket or a trap style vest on so its just not right in the open. Personally I don't like the idea of advertising that I'm carrying and I don't like the idea of being jumped for my gun so I'm always making an effort to conceal it in some manner even on the waist. I've not been carrying long so I'm not sure how I'll approach summer yet. Winter makes concealment easy. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

I took my sister and nephew over the holidays. My nephew had never shot any firearm at all and he got to shoot a Mark 3, Springfield XDM 9mm sub and a Mossberg 12 gauge. That one shocked him a little. He had a blast too. I'm on a mission to get all my family shooting. So far it's going real well. Both my sisters and brother in laws want to get CCPs now. Wal-Marts closing should be a good thing. If anything it may help mom and pops in smaller geographies but Wal-Mart is just maximizing profit. Nothing more. Yeah I do think this has something to do with the wage increase. Walmart will just move a few employees to the next closest now busier store and will terminate many employees improving their balance sheet in the process. Way to go democrats. I just got my new competition holster and four mag holders from Bill at Master Tac today.   These are absolutely fantastic.   The build quality is superb.       I can't even begin to describe how well the gun fits in the holster.  It's amazing.   Highly recommended.

I don't reload now, but it's something I'm certain to get into in the future.  Need more guns first!  When I do start reloading, it will cost me a pretty penny to get setup.  I don't want to buy cheap reloading gear only to have to replace it in the near future.  I know nothing about reloading, but I would assume a good quality reloading press would last a lifetime vs. buying a cheap model.

Just jump in! I was in your shoes back in October. I shot a match with the TN Action Pistol guys and loved it. You'll be real nervous the first match but everybody will help you out. The shooting is fun but just being around like minded individuals having a good safe time is just as fun. You'll meet some great people and pick up a lot of pointers from the veteran shooters.
