+1...you don't ever want to be left with just one. Have heard too much whining about selling or trading away guns that they wished that hadn't.
  2. Ok Jack, Repeat after me...Ramsey in August primary...Ramsey in August primary...
  3. Mother Theresa (God rest her soul) could not get a permit quicker than this. Y'all made deals with the devil.
  4. Nikki was just on Cam & Co. and said she thought Bredesen would veto again.
  5. That's the typical thing I hear from people who voted for him. All warm teddy bear feelings. No facts, no track record, no logic.
  6. Yeah "Mayors Against Guns" is getting pretty up front about this stuff.
  7. Where's Lex Luthor when you need him? Beachfront property in AZ baby!

    Not a sig fan

    I like it.
  10. IMO S&W's CS is top notch. It's American too. I don't think you'd be sorry at all.

    New Gun, Or Not?

CK1, I'm a big 9mm fan as well as a 1911 fan and that leaves few good options IMO. I've thought about the yet to be released 9mm Dan Wesson Guardian (the GBOB). However, first year of a new model is kind of like cars. I tend wait for year two and the problems are hopefully ironed out. I may wait on that GBOB until next year. If I was in a hurry, and especially for competition, I'd probably lean heavily towards STI.
  12. No idea how to add options on a poll. Feel free to note the steps. I was about to word it..."if you could only choose one..." just to annoy.
  13. I highly suggest you visit this 1911 forum and do some research before making a decision: 1911Forum - Powered by vBulletin Kimber was my first thought as well. It's not where I ended up.
  14. You mean he's not going to do another photo-op with all the d-bag police chiefs from around the state? I almost wish he would so he gets another "facial package" override.
  15. Yeah, put it right on south 3rd around the drive-in-movie flea market. Better ring it with razor wire.
  16. Ok, here's one Clint Eastwood would be proud of... What do you use on a hot dog?
  17. Depends on what you're putting it on.
  18. Mike you just keep "out white-ing" yourself. Great topic.
  19. I wonder if it's because the application numbers are starting to decline, or have they put more hands on deck to crank them out? Or, maybe these 3 week folks are squeeky clean..ha ha.

    Remington 1911 R1

    +1...that's what I'd do too.
  21. Got a full size M&P 9 and a G26. I carry either, depending on various factors. I like the trigger on the M&P better. Just feels smoother. It's not a 1911 class trigger by any means, but for a Tupper-gun, it's decent. I'm more accurate with the M&P, but then the bbl has a little bit more length than the G26. Can't say about the M&P 9c but I'd compare it to the G26 and the XD (no real experience with this one). I think you'd do well with any of those 3.
  22. Thanks CK1...got it. Yes, a good word for Nashville. Now I'm only 99.9% convinced he's a douchebag. But hey he's chippin' away at it.
  23. Ooops, the Governator might need to enact fingerprint registration on knives now. It's okay Arnold... Knives don't kill people, people kill people.
