  1. What are you looking to catch? Are you lake, river, or pond fishing?  From the bank or a boat?    #1 piece of gear, your fishing license.    Its hard to beat a 6.5' spinning rod with 6lb line. Hook, sinker, bobber & a dozen night crawlers.
  2. That's a real nice set up! I really don't understand the 16" ar10's. I'd want an 18 or 20".
  3. I bought a box of Chinese 123's no complaints so far. Still on my first set and they burn bright.
  4. Carrying a large knife in public will likely get you some special attention. And possibly get you an intent to go armed. Better off with some pepper spray in your pocket, or just stay home if it's really that bad out there.
  5. If there's a chance of resale I'd go colt or better and get a complete gun. $800 & up But u can go cheap with a blemished PSA lower and a delton rifle kit. Base m4 Appx $550-600 out the door. If you wanted to go cheap.
  6. How much is the tax/fee on a home made supressor? Is it still $200
  7. I've never seen them listed in any caliber except 556. Then of course the 9mm conversion as an addition. How much are 9mm mags for them?
  8. Yeah a tyvek suit, gloves and gas mask would go a long way if you had to venture out.  Then have the wife give you a quick spray down with a garden sprayer full of bleach water in the driveway prior to entering the house.
  9. Nice review, How bout some pics for inquiring minds?
  10. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/10/17/dallas-lab-worker-quarantined-aboard-cruise-ship-other-passengers-stranded/   So here is what Belize is doing.  They are saying hell no, you have been exposed to Ebola, and you are not entering our sovereign nation.  Good on them for having the huevo's to take a stand and protect their people.   Why did we just have to roll over and say, well Ebola was going to get here sometime might as well be now???   "The government of Belize reassures the public that the passenger never set foot in Belize and while we remain in close contact with U.S. officials we have maintained the position that when even the smallest doubt remains, we will ensure the health and safety of the Belizean people," the government said in a press release.   And furthermore, if you were exposed to Ebola, WTF would you risk exposing and killing hundreds of people?  Just stay home. Have a relative drop groceries on your front porch.     Seriously worst case doomsday potential, Ebola could wipe out 70% of this nation.  And exposed people are just gonna push it along like, "nothing to see here"
  11. Yes, she got the shingles from the chicken pox vaccine. They say it's extremely rare, but my mother also had a bad reaction to the shingles vaccine as an adult. The shingles were not a big deal for the baby. She was over it in a week. Mom had a much harder time with it. The jury is still out as to if the twins will get this shot or not.
  12. My daughter got shingles as the result of the chicken pox vaccine. 3 Drs. Denied it was even slightly possible. The same 3 drs confirmed it was shingles and possibly from the vaccine.
  13. On this one dog, no he's lost money.   But how many dogs does he steal and flip per week?     5-10 dogs per week vs a 35# bag of old roy...I think i've found a new business venture. lol Its really a numbers game, and perhaps a tax shelter.    I don't know the profile of this unsub, but it could be he gets a kick out of being the hero and rescuing dogs that weren't really lost. Only a matter of time before his obsession turns to people.    Just joking.   Very happy you are getting your dog back!`
  14. I think any American who contracts Ebola from this point on, should have a slumber party at Shep Smith's place.  Since there is absolutely no reason for concern...    The flu maybe more contagious, but its not 50-70% fatal!   Isn't that kinda like comparing a stubbed toe to a broke neck?
  15.     I don't get where I mentioned or advocated government regulation in my post?    I'm merely suggesting that this "rescuer" or "thief" should not take property that does not belong to him.  And that no ransom is due to him for his efforts.    If he were truly trying to rescue the dog, he would have posted found messages and fliers.  Or at least made some effort to locate the dog's owner.
  16. So the guy takes your property, that wasn't really lost.  Holds onto it for 6 months, all the while trying to sell it to the first respective buyer.   You catch wind due to your own efforts not the efforts of the rescue. And you are supposed to be thankful and pay him to get your own property back that never was really lost to begin with.    Why stop at dogs, how about all livestock, automobiles, and children...lost cell phones and wallets... If you lose your keys and I find them, can I turn around and sell your car?    Now I am very pro rescue.  3 of my dogs have been rescues, but they were owner surrenders or picked up from the local animal shelters by the rescues.    I know the polite thing is to be thankful, pay the $80 and live happily ever after.  And that's exactly what you should do.  But it just rubs me the wrong way to think someone can just pick up any random dog walking down the street and essentially sell it.
  17. My opinion echos what everyone else is saying.    I would like to have a M1 1945 and a paratrooper.   But its hard to justify, since I could buy 2 AR15's for the price of one M1 carbine.    Plus, the KAR version is appx $800 retail with a Davidson's lifetime warranty.
  18. So this guy stole your dog, and is now basically trying to sell it back to you.  If he admitted it was 800 feet from your property, it was likely from the top of your driveway.    EFFE that!   Get your hands on your dog and leave.  If he balks call the law and press charges against him and the rescue organization.   A person cannot just pick up random dogs, and sell them back for a profit!  Only the local animal shelter has the right to pick up dogs. Honestly, I would be tempted to show up with LE to pick up my dog aka my property.
  19. I really enjoyed the burning Zeds.  It reminded me of AUD.
  20. I helped a friend reload a few 5.7 with 40 gr Sierras.  I dont know if he ever got around to trying them.   All we read suggested that 5.7 was pretty finicky to reload, and not for rank amateurs like us....
  21.   Last time I checked you could not reach N America from Africa via Land.  Traveling by sea might be in many cases be slow enough for symptoms to present themselves prior to arrival.    See I am of the opinion that it would have been better to delay the spread.     If an infected person makes it to Europe, perhaps then they become a European problem and not an American problem.    I would have made it as hard as possible for Ebola to reach US soil as I possibly could.    I guess that's a null point now, since our 3rd infected person just exposed another plane full of people....
