  1. I'm sure this has been answered before and I apologise in advance but I've tried looking around here and used the search feature, but still haven't found what I'm looking for. Some State buildings have a sign at the door, the kind that simply says no firearms except for LEOs, and the handgun in a circle with a line thru it...I know this sign doesn't meet the standards for private businesses, but can you carry in places like the employment office, etc? I have seen the restrictions on recreational facilities...but really am concerned about this. Thanks for the guidance...
  2. Got an e-mail answer back from Charlie Tygard stating, "Thanks for your comment."
  3. Nashville.gov - Metro Council Feedback Form
  4. I saw the PDF file of the council members and the e-mail links, but is there a list of e-mail addresses for them that one can copy and paste into an e-mail? I want to send everyone of them an email...
  5. You go, girl!! VERY well written!
  6. I liked the speech. I wish HE were our President.
  7. I read the article, but didn't see what his crime was...I would bet his intention was to ship that ammo to his native country for a profit, but it apeared that he was arrested just for having that quantity...
  8. I agree. i think quitting is so easy...I used to quit all the time, lol. Seriously I think when you want it bad enough, you can do it...I was up to 3-4 packs a day in 89 when I stopped for good. I tried the nicorette gum and hated ithe taste (was before they had flavors other than ****ty) so that didnt last past oneday. Finally tried, on the recommendation of a dr, cinnamon sticks, from the spice aisle at the grocery store. Worked for me! Filled a couple voids that cigs had filled. Something to stick in your mouth and the finger/hand thing too. Plus the taste aint bad and you can chew them too if you wanna. And they are so much cheaper, lol.
  9. Im curious too because I though Park carry was prohibited.
  10. I agree. I just wrote him again, but I already knew he didnt represent us.
  11. What a dirtbag! The media is full of them.
  12. Powell is overrated. Always has been. He's a political general. Read his book. I read it after the first Gulf war and was astounded at how he is really way to the left. He is an open proponent of affirmative action programs. Even in the military. He became popular becaus eof his position and speaking ability and has no substance in my opinion. People are just now, in many cases, seeing his real colors. You'll see much more Im afraid. And you are right. He sides with black first and foremost.
  13. I think these are on the market now. I saw one recently but am not sure where it was. I THINK it was a Charter Arms at Guns for America on Powell Ave.
  14. A little history for those who may not know... Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England. In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York. This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico.... But as we know....the great ship did not make it to New York....The ship hit an iceberg and sank....and the cargo was forever lost.... The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery....were disconsolate at the loss.... Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning which they still observe to this day.... The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th.... and is known....of course....as Sinko de Mayo...
  15. I took the poll yesterday and the results were HEAVILY in favor of the bill. Perhaps they took it offline when they saw that! LOL
  16. I heard back from my rep, Gary Moore in the House, and he said he willl vote for it in whatever form it finally comes out of committee. Also heard back form one of the committee members, Mae Beaver, who told me she is for it.
  17. For pocket carry and/or BUG I usually have my P3AT, but am gonna pick up a PF9 soon. Probably will become my pocket BUG then.
  18. Id be interested in hearing their answer, if you get one.

  20. What are the PLR-16s going for nowadays?
  21. As crazy as this may sound...and I agree it does, You HAVE to remember that the libs DO want to and WILL try to sneak stuff thru that will at least inhibit us. It's up to us to be vocal enough to stop it, and this includes the US signing onto to international treaties that limit our soveriegnity.
  22. Duplicate. Deleted.
  23. I like that. I have been using a horizontal clip on cell phone holder that I picked up at a discount place for 2 bucks. It holds my spare G-30 .10 rounder perfectly and looks like the trypical faux leather cell phone on yer belt. Thought I was the only one that was so smart, lol.
  24. Dunno if it was Kabar but at the Nashville Gun Show the other day, I saw some bayonets for pistols...
