H&K USP 40 full size. Nice gun, just clunky and impossible to conceal with holsters that were available at the time.

Smith & Wesson model 3913 9mm. Not the Lady Smith nor the newer 3913 Tactical. Just a plain jane 3913. It was a perfect little 9mm carry gun. I should have hung on to it.

You should shoot a USPSA match some time. Especially out in Dickson where they tend to have moving targets. It's good "training" for those scenarios.

I would have carried a bigger gun, for starters. A .32 caliber handgun is going to just piss someone off unless you get them in the head.

Wilson Combat. The new "Elite Tactical Magazine" (ETM) version is really nice. The reason I dislike McCormick mags is the split metal follower; it tends to gouge the frame on alloy framed handguns.

So... what's everyone doing for Halloween tonight? I've got a couple bowls of treats for the neighborhood kids. Once that runs out, I'll be battening the hatches and calling it a night. Of course, Ghost Hunters comes on at 8pm and it's another live episode at the sanitarium so that's going to be fun to watch. Hopefully there won't be any vandalism in the neighborhood tonight. There hasn't been in years past but we've got a new development that opened up a little ways down the road and the houses down there are small, cheaply built and seem to be attracting a lot of folks from rougher parts of town. Unfortunately some of them seem to have brought some bad habits with them from those parts of town. :-\ Makes me wonder if I shouldn't pull the truck around back behind the house so that kids won't be tempted to take aim at such a big ass target with eggs.

The Rabbi must be an old softy off of the forums. He's got too many friends for it to be any other way.

I'll just say this... nothing you read, or watch, or are told can really prepare you for it. It's not something that can really be described. You just have to do it to understand how freaking cool it is and how difficult it really can be to control them once the muzzle starts to rise. There is absolutely no comparison to shooting semi auto. Not even shooting semi auto quickly. It's a whole different animal.
