  1. Fingerprints electronically at the Nashville Board of Education on 6/30 Permit in the mail today 7/20.
  2. One needs to be sure to let any business that they do not use/frequent know that their stance on licensed carry cost them business. otherwise they miss the point completely.
  3. Guntroll 260 Remington
  4. Youngest shooter I have ever seen at what is now CHMR was 5 years old. He was shooting a 22 under direct supervision of his Grandfather, but had a lot better range skills than a lot of adults!

  6. Reading Piper226's statement, I have to say If you have issues in a store/mall, go to management or security. When you leave and walk to your car you are by yourself . . . If you go straight home, you leave a trail to where you live. Please do not set yourself up to be a more likely victim
  7. Guntroll If you are gonna build a 6.5 mm gun, then look at 6.5X57 or 6.5X257, 0.473 head size on brass and it will do what ya want. 24 inch barrel to get all you can and I think you will like the performance just fine.
  8. I question this and all the "accidents" by the shipping companies. Are they accidents or deliberate damage by employees? Especially true when it is very apparent that it is a gun case. I think public flogging of airline./shipping company employees would be a start.
  9. I did fingerprints electronically today (6/30). We will see what it takes.
  10. My coworker got his renewal in two and one-half weeks.
  11. How fast or slow a powder is, is of little consequence as long as one stays within the load data parameters as published by the powders manufacturer, or any published loading manual. I just checked AA's manual and no bullet is listed with less that 5.8 as a starting load so that should not have been an issue. Are you sure you loaded 5.8 grains of AA#2? Could be an issue of soft brass or rough chamber. A friend had issues with his guns and a particular powder. I got a mostly full can of powder out of it and loaded various loads ( mild to max) and had no issues. Even bought a pound to keep loading it.
  12. My only issue with OC is that if I did, then everyone would already know I have one, where it is and can easily get one step ahead of that. The element of surprise has many uses.
  13. FIRST Get her pepper spray for the house placed in a STRATEGIC location. Then Good Ear plugs Eye protection and an air rifle/pistol if available. Next a 22 at things that break (if your range allows) like clay targets Paper is very boring to newbies and something breaking is KEWL. If these steps fail, look for a girlfriend that is gun friendly
  14. Canon, nikon there are the choices.
  15. It is his restaurant, his sign, his opinion. NO reason for any PC stuff. If I am in he area, I will eat there. PC as taught today is a tribalism wins mentality and look at every country in the world where tribalism is the basis for their society . . . Just an opinion
  16. Neutralize the threat is the goal. Sometimes it results in death, hopefully on the part of the "bad guy" if someone has to go. "Assault weapon" from the shell casings . . . Need I go there?
  17. A friend at work has taught me that when someone is right on your bumper s the best time to wash ones windshield. Several doses and they usually figure it out. The road rage seemed to be on your part, just chill there are too many idiots on the road to get riled and consider openening a can of "WhupA$$" on the interstate.
  18. Bore sighting is a good way to save ammo when one is getting new gun/scope online. Then it is time to sight in.
  19. simple straight forward step by step procedures/requirements and places to go from nothing to a carry permit.
  20. Hope he is not stupid enough to go to a political cesspool.

  22. Try Coke bottler, they are the ones touting the fact that their barrels are recycled for rain barrels
  23. 'Leprechaun' Robbery Suspects Killed After Police Chase - NewsChannel 5.com - Nashville, Tennessee - Certainly does cut down on the legal expenses down the road.
  24. I know someone who bought 3 of them. It was sheer luck but the guns are police turn-ins, not military. The poolice guns came with real nice well made heavy leather holsters with separate magazine pouch so the finish was not dinged up like the military pistols where the Mag was inside of the holster bang on the gun constantly. The 2 Mags supplied with each pistol looked brand new, one of the pistols had seen little or no holster time, and both of the others were in the 95% or better range. All three survived a quick and dirty 50 round function test. Ten yard ten shot groups were adequate. Oh, the penetration on a wet consolidated clay bank was surprising, something on the order of 12.5 inches as I remember his tests. Not a 45, but I wouldn't mind having one when someone needed to be stopped before they hurt ya and if worse came to worse, shot.
  25. Sorry to see you are leaving a state with freedom for NY. Well at least it is pretty far from NYC. I'm assuming the Falls and county name coincide.
