if i am not mistaken, the Sig X 5 series runs around $2000. i do not which model i have fondeled and shot but it was very nice, the slide is internaly lighten and plenty of extra goodies. but i does require a full power load to run. and i do believe only the X5 mags work in the gun.

it was an awful day but did manage to hit a few balls, at 200, but 300 just too much wind! one really nice thing about golf balls they are a lot like bowling pins they are surprisenly tuff. you get a grease ring at the impact point and almost no exit hole. FMJ just leaves a small star crack that closed up. 77 nolser match just leaves a slightly bigger mark. and yes the 223 does pass through.

as Morpheus said you do not want to be sub sonic at 1k, i too do not like recoil, but of the 2 you listed i would use the 308. the 300 mag would be easier i would think for someone still learning. but at the same time by the 10th round if i am luckly i would be flinching so bad only god would know were the shot went.

if it is the same bunch i shot with YES, they do. and very helpful. if you wish to get looks of horror out of them, them you are or want to use a 20" 5.56 AR with factory ammo! looking back in was funny, but at the time i was worried, i promised Morpheus i would not be back until i had a more suitable gun. so i would not scare his other shooters. but i did pull it off with only 2 misses.

Annual Classifier Match 10 & 11 March in Dickson
RWF replied to AH1356's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
do not let her fool you, she does not need them. if she was shooting before with 20/200 -
no i am not a member, but you need 1k yard set up, as you can see i was using a AR 20" in5.56 with all the check dope for the scope gun and round, besure you have 30mm scope for increased ajustment range and 20 MOA offset mount. once that got over the horror of my set-up get when a great bunch of guys! credmoore sports has lots of stuff to help you out. find somewere to shoot 600-800 yards check the drop compared to what the dope says notice the wind and what did. good luck

had a disgreement with optics planet on a return of a Vortex HS 1 x 4 no fault of the scope. i was just unsure about me and the recitle. i never clamped down but the day i decided to return it i put it in place on my AR and held in place with my hand. so they would not refund my money. do to it being mounted and having ring marks. i told them to show me but they could not get it to show up in a picture. i contacted Vortex and without question they took the scope back and credited optics planet and then they gave me my money back. then Vortex sent me 2 t-shirts and 2 hats. thank you Brian at Vortex C.S.

WOW have you even read your own post? all i did was ask a question, and you can back with the fairy tail about cheating on a classifier. and i am spreding lies. a simple yes or no would have been fine, now who started what? and yet you quickly change the story when question. as i stated i do believe i used your words in my packet, and i told the rest of the board. on what i believe to the truth on what you told me. i know it seemed to piss off Greg but what was that what 2 years ago. if i misunderstood will then i told them all wrong, but as i recall you were very clear on your feeling then up and quit. and we do thank everyone on the way out, but if i am not mistaken i am still the a little more than you so i do not know how you would know who says thanks and who does not. again i was not in the parking lot, and have disagreements with all of them and have never any of them use that kind of words. me that is different story. ***edit per user's request if any one has questions of me please ask -

[quote name='kceva We should have known that you would find some way to twist something concerning a parking concern into your own issue, maybe one day after some therapy you might be able to move on and quite turning everything negitive that occurs with MCTS into something it isn't. just notice the line in small print, i do not think i twisted anything (look in the mirror) i found it odd you singing the praises of someone that you dogged out a year or so, which by the way was in package sent to the board as i recall. to me twisted, knownly telling a totally false story as i call it then on the next post you seem to have the correct facts for the most part. 2 completely differt stories. now that is twisted knowing the basic facts, but posting some fairly tale. you may denie it but look at the time table on the post as to how fast you change the story. haven't you also up and just quit your job club also for the excuse you listed also? therapy is boring, i just use drugs to stay clam. hoping it over Robert -

WOW! you remember now! so why the big story about posting i cheated on a classifier? truth still not quite right but very very close. but you are on right track. why did you have to post a false statement? if you knew what it was about in the first place. like i said in my first post to you, i was just wondering and now i know. thanks -

not even close, how do you cheat on a classifier? but if you do not remember then why all the bold statements? that is okay because most of what have you have said is wrong. but you are right about a motion to be voted out. when you are looking out for what you think is best for a club, friendship has nothing to do with it and that is why they are still my friends as far as i know. there was never a vote, it was all dropped. my membership expired. please check first. like i said just wondering. -

time for a short story, back a few years ago well more than a few i guess, when i would take a new shooter to a new match out of state i would tell them not to be surprise when people come up and ask where's Wanda?. and they would be surprised, just thinking i am full of shxt. and be damn if more than once we would get asked. now thats anywhere in the southeast USA and as far west as OK and up into northern KY. at multigun matches everyone wants to know what i did with Wanda. we have on DVD Robie Johnson and young Horner telling Wanda "HI". her and Taran Buter talk face to face regularly. but times have change this like TGO, Enos and so on.now i when am out of state i have been stopped at a match in georgia by a shooter i did not know and he did not know me, BUT he knew my gun from the internet and wanting to see it and handle it, plus he knew every piece i had put in it. now days Wanda goes everywhere with me and now she will known. so she has a blast getting to play with all the cool stage toys. just for fun not as paid competitor again because she is well known. well things change now days people come up to us and say hi "aren't you RWF" how they know i have no idea. okay, the point of the story as slowsure stated the shooting community is small! people who do the action shooting shoots all know or know of each other. with stuff like this around and how the club can come out looking okay! one of the shooters saying something to Hognut on the thread, DOES KNOW AND IS KNOWN BY ALL THE SHOOTERS AND HIGHLY REPECTED BY PEOPLE LIKE LINDA, BOTH THE HORNERS, ROBBIE JOHNSON, i could go on but there is no need, for a club to start a issue on a first offense by parking in the members only mudd hole maybe it is a not called DQ but you keeping his money and hiding the scores just wrong. the parking mud hole still had space for more. i do not think that anyone can say it is not. visitor parking is nicer but you just have to walk. kcevens, this not first time the club has done something like this, many people have been run off by the leadership, it is a good size list ask hognut eye to eye. when i made my issue with club making it public, was the only way to get them to leave me alone. and now i can talk without having something thrown in my face. like it or not you as a club need that core base. new shooters do not pay the bills people have to want to come back, even before this last go around that was a issue. i have no dog in this fight but it just seem like a B.S. thing to so i put in my 2 cents -

i turned it in, the whole squad together on the clip board. i am sure i did not lose any as i never removed any after the last stage. -
not on a regulator, bases, it is a tight little gun but if it worn a lot and i start seeing the lint building up on it. i will do a general break down and cleaning. most of the time on the frame i use a weapons grease (just a small amount), but not on the barrel locking lugs because when you load that first round the grease gets all over the chamber and even after thinking it is all removed dust and lint will still want to stick to it. with daily wear about 2 to 3 weeks. sorry i am no help on that. but just kept a eye on it, you will know. it has failed once and i can say that was my fault, and after 200 + rounds. plus it had been lubed-cleaned in 2-3 weeks. i am god aweful at typing, spelling etc so for the whole story go to competion shooting sports, then funny stages.

well my gunsmithing skills once again came through as always. work great at home and failure at the buzzer, i do believe it will be simple fix. i hope a new mag fixed it. the one i put in the day before was a standard power that cut to lenght of the old exrta power. it is in the trash and now has a new extra power and correctly cut spring. -
no 4 rail forearm or tact charging handle they get caught on anything and everything. if some says just buy rail covers then was is the point, of the extra wieght and money, almost, but not all will let you put a rail or rails on were you need/want them.
