sorry for the delayed anwser, she thought she did already. it is a Bladetech speed rig with tek-loc, and L.E. DOH (drop and offset) also the LE you most ask for it is much nicer than there standard DOH part

Caster, sounds like you have a great gun, but have a question. don't factory loaded 80 grain or handloaded 90's have to have specialty throated barrel? i have not had or heard of anyone having a great range of bullets at all ranges, but all 223 or 5.56 i know myself, are AR's or savage. maybe CZ is the way to go on a bolt gun.

well, that is what i was trying to say, just do not have the way with words, like i said you need to go -
my 2 cents, is the forward asst is no longer need, i have not had one in years and do not miss it, the wife use a plastic plug. the forward asst to me is a throw back from the veitam war to solve a problem that no longer apilies. after the first gun went across the pond people were happy, they pass the test so the army said we tons of this old ball powder lets use that, which of course lead to issues that thenew added forward asst should fix. just me

for the 12 they make coye specific ammo and chokes that claim you can make a 70 yard on a dog (Carlson's) i do have a friend that uses his turkey choke and loads on them.

nice picture, both work great! i will tell you, first hand; it's a true pain only when you believe your buffer tube is mil-spec and order a new stock and it does not fit! and yes it true just because they claim mil-spec does not make it so. as a note most hi end stuff tends to be proprietary, even Para was when were making ZM's rifle. also were are the "finished pics" of your AR?

if you are truely new to this you do need to go (to both sides of the hill) but kept in mind this is a odd ball match, and the rules and your 45 will work against you. so do not be let down, in most cases you only go against others with a 45. like i said, the guys on the other side of the hill have drawn, and shot down all there steel before even got my front sight on my target, but still shot mine anyway. -
that's not what i was thinking putting it together, mostly 4 letter stuff. i had a shape JP trigger i going to put in it. it may be spec but it very much on the tight end. that trigger is a high dollar TTU from my parts of my 1000 gun. the only one i had that would fit. the bolt release took some work to move freely and the damn thing when the 2 halves are put together is no easy task!

well i know there will be hell to pay and everyone has there own idea's about everything and you can find on the web info to support about anything. not saying there is anything right or wrong. accurate is to me in the mind of the shooter. like some may say that a 3 MOA group is good and another just plain bad. i myself have never since or heard until now of any 77 grain bullet grouping out of a 1 X 9 which it may do at 100. i know of only of one person who even tried a 75 hornady out of a 1 x 9 and the pictures i saw of his groups at 100 were great! (20") but when it came time to put up or shut up at distance his ablity to hit targets fail off a lot. i like the 1 x 7 NOT BECAUSE the armed forces use it, because i do use a 77 bullet for distance there is just lots less to think about.. i go out of my way to make sure my AR's are not tact cool or like they be long in the service. and yes i did right at 15 years. i also thought the basic M & P sport was a 1 x 8, but i do not kept up with it. the chamber discription was great, but with that said i have also seen the people have the most trouble with wydle, most were reloads i believe, and the round would be stuck and the rifle butt would have to slamed on the ground to removed the round. no fault of the gun most of time in mind. in the small circle that i play in JP is by far the most used rifle/upper there standard is the 1 x 8. but JP is alot more $ than talked about here. no i do not have one but have shot them and there upper end is the only recoiless AR style i have fired. again $ anyway just a no body, again have fun and be safe.

maybe he is a lefty. but like said it is what you want and another side note if the model you pick has the option for a mid lengh gas system, go with that.

not sure, but i think for me it will suck, only needing to loss once, it will be short day. man on man going against the guys on Moverfive side i been beat down before i could even get my gun to full draw! -
just a note, if you port it, you can not use in 98% of pistol matches unless you shoot open, against some serouis drag racers. but i know the old G21C was fun to shoot at night!! the 2 slots almost make heart shaped flame, they go up at 45 degrees then start to curl inward. on a 44mag deer hunting you only do this once, use a tree to steady your aim. and get a face full of tree bark.

it is all up to you, the choices are endless. if you do not see something you like, make it yourself. it is far worse than buying a car. and with thousands of ideas what makes a good AR. my big thing is the twist rate. but no issue for a coyote at 100, 200 whatever. good luck and have fun.

there is a problem, i would guess if the scope is not bad then you have a high MOA mount, like a 20 MOA offset mount. but some of the Nikon 223 series come with that, sorry no help. i guess you could look up the adjustment range for the scope and with it bottomed out count the number of clicks, to be sure the scope is doing what it is suppose to be doing. also have the rifle in a fixture with the crosshairs centered on something and make sure that the crosshair did move.

do not know anything about 308 and steel but what i have seen at matches, but MGM says 100 yard min to maintain the warrenty. if that helps.

hmm, I think that is the first time that i can remember, of you telling a tale. did get the M2 running the 2.75 dram shot great. but i will be using the Versa Max cause it will not be ready for open in time. the only thing my M2 will not run is the flocchi low recoil buck. but the win lite is about as soft and runs. and it is very true about the Versa Max being a copy of the Benelli M series. with the bolts and carrier next to each other on the outsidelook the same the only difference is the M2 is a 3" and the versa max is a 3.5 and the M2 bolt finish is a nice hard chrome and the Versa Max is just black. i really do believe if you swapped the bolts they would still work but i have to believe the Remington has to be a few thousands bigger or smaller, so it is not a true copy. plus the trigger groups look just alike. the Versa Max does not have a inertia spring and as i understand it the M4 has 6 rounds gas ports and the Versa Max has 7 oval. kind of sad Remington had to copy some one else to get a good running shotgun out of the box that will run and run anything, but maybe this will get them back on the map.

well, that's kinda of what i was trying to say. A 50 yard zero (as a general rule) will = a 200 yard zero, not perfect but you will be within 1-3 inches at 200. most closer to 1-1.5" inches and very easy to dail it in. i do understand that in some situations 2.5 - 3 high at 100 will not work but i was talking only about big game hunting, where most things have a 6-8 inch kill zone. that way i do not have to worry about the range, just aim and shoot. i no longer sight in my hunting rifle like that any more only because i no longer really have a place to try to hunt at 300+ yard range. and if i did my part most deer dropped on the spot. but like you said more or less it just what you are best at. (the back ground)

we have several like that from MGM and the are on sale this month. you also get a 30% offset so you can shoot that at close range. we have shot them with pistol and AR.s at 15 yards or so and 30% downward angle so all the splater goes to the ground and all there targets are 500 brenell hardness. at Ft. Benning we shot some at some with a belt fed green tip at maybe 30 yards, after 3 days and around 300 shooters nothing shot through the steel.
