I got a referbished Garmin Nuvi on eBay. I can't remember the model number. I would go with the wide screen model though. The Garmins are easier to use than the other brands out there.

At the last show I brought my Kahr to look for a holster. I left the loaded magazine in the car. The officer asked if I had a magazine with it, and I said no explained why I brought the gun without the magazine. He made me empty my pockets and pat my back pockets before he would let me in. It pissed me off a little to say the least. I understand the principle, but it isn't like they don't sell magazines and loaded ammo inside the show.

I like the grips. How much difference is there in the fit/finish between the two models. I have a Herritage and love it.

I think VZ grips started making a new type of screw that looked pretty nice. Screws and Bushings

I ran across a used XDm 40 at a pawn shop. It looked to be in good condition about 95-98%. The barrel had some wear on the inside. What is a good used price? It is the all black version with box and 2-16rd mags. He had it for $475.

I like the Hornady LE TAP 2 3/4. They even make a low recoil version. The Rio ammo seems good too, especially for the price. But really they are all going to have similar effects.

I liked my lcp too. My complaint with it is that my thumb would hit the mag eject. So it had to go.

You should take a look at a kahr pm. They are a little pricey, but well worth the money. Miine isn't much larger than my ruger lcp and disappears as well in a pocket holster.

I would go with a MTAC or a Crossbreed over the Kholster for the defender. If you have a 1911, why skimp on a holster?

What about a Beretta Tomcat .32? My wife has one and loves it. Buffalo Bore makes some decent ammo in .32.

I don't think there is a conversion for a G30 into a 9mm. The only conversion I saw was to a 400 Corbon or 10mm. I don't think the 9mm mags would fit into the 30.

I really liked mine. It shot very well, and handled everything from WWB and Blazer steel cased to hollow points. My only complaint was the increased grip size compared to the normal frame Glocks. Recoil was not bad at all.

I found it today. Great store. I have never seen a store with that many handguns. They had great prices on everything and very nice used guns. I really wanted to take one of the HK 45s home. Very friendly staff too. One guy spent 15 min showing me several guns.

Where is the retail store now? Is it at the address listed on the website. It says police supply on the side of the building in the picture. I'm headed up tomorrow.

I just like that style over the three hole style.

Does anyone know which brand of trigger kimber puts on their custom shop guns? I'm wanting to change the trigger on my Dan Wesson and I really like the one on my CDP.

Actually they are. They are just hard to find because of the rush to get them. I managed to pick up some of the .40 cal last week. Midway had the .45 when I ordered them, but I did not get them because I didn't know how effective they would be in a .45.
