  1. Do they have the right to search a locked container bolted into the trunk, or just the trunk?
  2. Just because they can search your car, I don’t think they can legally prevent you from having a gun in your car. The Castle Doctrine says your car is an extension of your home and you can keep a gun in it. https://www.tennessean.com/story/money/2016/02/11/3-things-tennessee-employers-should-know-gun-laws/80255594/#
  3. An employer CAN NOT prevent you from having a gun in your car. That right is protected.
  4. Well I also have these Winchester Model 63 Marlin Golden Model 39a
  5. My most recent rimfire. 1910 Remington model 22 I will have another new to me rimfire this weekend.
  6. Well, most folks can use (drugs and accohol) and wander around a public place or private businesses. The only laws against it are public intoxication laws. It is not against the law to be high (other than public intoxication) just possession of the drugs. Being on drugs is not enough to be charged with possession. I see (smell) folks high on pot everywhere.
  7. Maybe we get a compromise out of this and they change the law so you don’t have a gun violation, but a trespassing charge if you refuse to leave the business when asked. This way the business still has control over thief property rights, but we don’t get an unreasonable charge if we unintentionally violate the statute.
  8. Rossi makes a solid version of both the Winchester 92 and the Marlin 336 at a decent price point.
  9. I guess they figured they could give Ruger/Marlin a run for the money with a 44mag. The Marlin with a wood stock (not a pretty as the 3.5K S&W) is the same price (if you can find one). Since I have a JM Marlin in 44 mag, I’m not interested in the S&W
  10. I’ve been wearing my Muck Boots ass week. I did add some cushioned inner soles for more comfort. I have the Chore ST (steel toe).
  11. I need to go to an LA meeting. I just threw a bid out on a live auction and won a Marlin 375 Win for a great price including the buyers premium. Not sure if I need two in 375 Win.
  12. Of course I need to post this one. 1972 Marlin 1895, B0-00003XX serial number. 45-70 (of course)
  13. So here is this rifle now. I did cold blue the steel, refinished the stock, found a forend to refinish, cut the barrel down to 16.5”, hand cut the dovetail for the mag tube pin. The stripped receiver and barrel went to Class3Machining in Texas for threading. Only took 2weeks. (The can is still in jail)
  14. Until I get obsessed with something else. Maybe that is my consistency, I’m always obsessed with something.
  15. If I had 3k to spend on a 1911, I would get a Tisas and 2-3 lever guns

  18. Much less finding a working VCR
  19. I have two more to submit here in the next week or or so.
