  1. This one is not a lever gun, but not an automatic or bolt action either. And it is in 35 Remington. 1936 Remington Model141 GameMaster pump action rifle.
  2. I might have a box. I’ll check when I get back in town (Friday)
  3. I was bidding on a 1908 Savage 99 in 30-30 but it went higher than the limit I set for myself. I need to just save up get the 45-70. Every time I’m about to pull the trigger, I either have a home (car) expense, then a different, less expensive lever catches my eye.
  4. Is it because we listened to it or we are old enough to have listened to it when it was released?
  5. That is on the list. I keep almost buying one and then I end up buying something else.
  6. I picked up a “new” Winchester. It’s a 1922 Model 94 SRC in .30-30. She is is good shape for an almost 102yo. The bore looks great. Not a lot of blueing left. I moved the peep sight over from the 1926 to this one. Now the 1926 SRC in 32WS has a friend.
  7. I have a 407c on my p365xl. I have a Romeo1 on my CZ. I like them both. I had a Shield SMSc but did not like it as much as the Holosun. The RMSc looks better as it is aluminum not composite.
  8. Nice Rifle. I have one and tbey are sweet. GLWS
  9. 2017 Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 1.5 9mm with FDE frame. This one has a safety. Approximately 600 rounds down the pipe. It has been kept clean and stored inter safe. Includes the factory 7rnd and 8rnd mags. $250 located in Nashville. Must be 21 and legally able to own a firearm.
  10. Anchor Down!! (that way we sink faster)
  11. Don’t forget to set your scales back 5lbs today.
  12. Happy Thanksgiving. Thankful for the TGO and our community. “It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American people. I do, therefore, invite my fellow-citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a Day of Thanksgiving…” Abraham Lincoln, 1863

    Lever Guns

Truth. I had the Henry for a bit before I bought the Rossi. I had the Rossi for a month or so then I bought 3 more in a month.

Well, I won’t blame you, I already had an additive personality. You just introduced the newest addiction. LOL.

    Lever Guns

The Henry 22 (no offense HiPoint) just did not feel as well put together as I hoped. The Rossi was a sweet shooting rife. I just have a thing for older and vintage rifles. My oldest is a 1922 Winchester SRC, my newest is from 1980 (Marlin 375 Winchester). I started of slowly and quickly went all in. It did help that circumstances in life compelled me to divest of all my ARs and related supplies which were quickly turned into lever guns.

    Lever Guns

A savage 99 is on the list. I will probably try to stay in a caliber I already have (most likely 35 rem). i started with one Henry 22 and now have 7 Marlins, three Winchesters, plus a few other cool old rifles. I have sold the Henry as well as a Rossi, a Marlin and a Winchester. I guess since late 2021, I have bought 14 lever guns.

It is definitely a rabbit hole to fall down. looking back at the thread I started a couple years ago, I started with a Henry 22 and don’t even have it anymore.
