And another point. . you walk into someones business open carrying. . and if he has other patrons complain. . congratulations you just forced that business owners hands into posting. . not because he or she wants to. . .or even agrees with the concept. .  but because of the need to protect his or her business. Remember folks those who would not do business this a location because it is posted are far out numbered by those who would not go in becasue they were concerned about someone in there open carrying their "hog-leg" trying to get their mall ninja on. .

All it does has ever done is upset the sheeple and get more gunbuster signs posted and provoke the libs to pass more restrictive laws on behalf of the sheeple. . .   As I have said before you may be within your rights to stand in front a kindergarten with a bag of candy. . a tube of ky jelly and a copy of the Kamasutra. . just because its your right doesnt mean its the right or smart thing to do. . .   This whole notion of "raising awareness" by open carrying is assinine. . and in my opinion is practiced by those who are "compensating" for some other inadequacy or just doing an adult version of "Stewart" from Mad TV. . going around saying "Ive got a gun.  ..look what I can do". . .

I would love a Benelli M4. . but alas I cant aford it.  . but if I could I would not bat an eye at the purchase. . although I can attest that I do love the ghost ring sights on my 590 A1 with meprolight tritium front post. . .I do with however wish there was an option for a tritium dotted rear ring. . .   My 590 A1 was the compromise shotgun I bought since the M4 was out of my budget . . I would go ahead and get a high end pump before buying a semi-auto less reliable than the Benelli is with any ammunition

If its just a 25 yard indoor range to plink at for a few cant beat Farnsworth in Vonore. . .yes the range is dirty buts it functional and only five bucks and you can shoot anything you want up to 30 06. . if Im not mistaken I think I even saw a shotgun being carried into the range there but I might have been mistaken

Ok. . .after watching that video I have concluded that this guy is a complete idiot. . he is obviously using every inch of the few firearm and protection from search and seizure freedoms we have left to entrap law enforcement into violating rights that he is exercising way out of context for the "spirit" in which they were written.   I understand the need to reaffirm the 2nd amendment but this isnt it. God forbid that there any more kwiks come out of the woodwork and start fighting for my 2nd amendment and freedom from illegal seach and seizure rights; if just gives the libs more ammunition to pass more laws to further confine these rights to protect public interest from idiots like this from inciting the sheeple to be fearful and causing law enforcement to waste time and money screwing around with this moron.   I wonder how many calls to that areas 911 were received while he was doing this.  .I wonder how many alarm calls were put on hold because the lines were full of people calling in for this idiot. .     It definetely is a made for export gun. . that Poly USA is a dead give away.  .  certainly made for Da Keng. Keng was always able to get the cleanest rifles. . .

the factory sights are narrow for old eyes like mine...I put meprolights on my poly which tightened my groups alot....ended up with a texas dog leg 2....like the back up peep with the meprolight front post alot although I did step drill the rear peep out a little as didnt let enough light in ....but generally just use the vortex sparc....akso love the American Defense throw mount. . you can take the optic off and put it back on or raise the dog leg for cleaning and it holds zero. . great set up crappy phone pic below.. . Ak's are like pizza....when they are good they are real good....and when theyre bad...hell theyre still pretty good.... What I like about them....durability...dependability. they hit hard...ammo is relatively cheap...accuracy is fine enough for 7.62x39 natural trajectory even with cheap ammo....lets be honest with ourselves....ifs a 200 yard gun....but it is the worlds best 200 yard gun...and with a better sights or decent optic...repeatable accuracy is not an issue for me

I cant tell the difference shooting a milled and 1.6 mm stamped. . but I can seem to feel the "flex" of 1mm stamped gun. . .could just be in my head. But my Polytech is certainly more accurate hot than my Maadi ARM was. .   As far as recoil goes my Polytech galil side folder would leave a bruise on my shoulder after a few hundred rounds with just the factory muzzle nut. . I put an FSC 47 comp. on it and it just straight up lays there now. . .very little recoil no noticable climb. .

No complaints with my Sparc on a 7.62x39. .  .

You cant hardly go wrong with a Chinese AK.. . post ban mak 90 do have some stock limitations due to the thicker receivers. . . yes Polytechs are expensive but in my opinion worth the money. . .buy once cry once. . .Egyptian Maadis are a very good variant all except the MISR series. . . those are egyptian receivers built with chinese parts kits which are not easily compatible so at very best fit and finish will be aweful even if functional. . .a Romanian SAR 1 should be good to go. . as well as an Arsenal. I know alot of people have good luck with century built WASR's but I would not buy one without intense inspection and make sure trying different types of mags for lock up and wobble and of course canted sights. .But as far as best bang for your buck cant go wrong with a MAK 90. . . The Chinese designed AK's in 7.62x39 are reffered to as Type 56 guns and if you take the dust cover off and look at the guts of a Type 56 and any of their european cousins you will see the difference. . .     So to sum it up. . .if I was looking for best quality/value on a first AK and I knew I was going to be happy with a traditional style AK with a wood stock I would get a MAK 90. If I thought I might want to "play" with it and maybe try a sidefolding stock or what have you I would try to find an Egyptian Maadi ARM model imported by Intraac of Knoxville. . .these are good to go and the muzze threads are intact and covered by a tackwelded muzzle nut. . .

  If it helps even just a few of my friends on TGO find something they need at a reasonable price during these hard times I see nothing "nerdy" about it. . .perhaps Im not "nerdy" enough cause Im not really sure about the reference to someone posting "FIRST" on any forum...but I am truly saddened that my decision to create a thread advising of in stock 9mm ammunition has in some way offended you and I truly hope that we can still be friends. . .
