  1. As well you should, if they are breaking into your home while you are there it my understanding that the law “presumes they are there to do you harm”.
  2. Something silmlar. Used some fire alarm strobe horns hooked up to timers so they flash at different times and set to 110 candella. It is very disorienting.
  3. I learned to drive in a 71 maverick, 3 on the tree in Spokane Washington (well actually Fairchild AFB) in the late 70’s. I knew nothing about driving in the ice and snow. Drove to Spokane and was returning, pulled into the left turn lane to go to the base and downshifted (bad mistake) that sucker spun like a top, ended up in the middle of the Marian with the tail end hanging into oncoming traffic with a big a$$ station wagon, and right behind him was a freaking semi. The car went around the front of the car, the truck went around the rear, both missing me by inches. I put that sucker in 1st gear and powered my way out of the median and got to the base. I spend the next 3 weeks on the parade field at night learning how to control it in any weather conditions. SP’s only bothered me a couple of times thinking I was playing or goofing off but once I explained what I was doing they were good. Next time I ventured off base I knew what I was doing.
  4. I took my gun off my hip while driving and attempted to put it in the door pocket, hit something, rolled forward and shot a hole through the door plastic, drivers side kick panel, and into the body down by the brake release. Funny thing is I never heard the shot, just felt the gun jerk and kick out of my hand. The only reason I was messing with it was I was headed to a school. Pulled into a parking lot to inspect the damage and to recover my gun and it turned out to be a church school parking lot. So there I was handling my gun in a school parking lot anyway.
  5. They’re not allowed to fly our aircraft with any armaments. They. Outdoor fly it into something but that’s about it.
  6. I install alarms for a living, I was working in North Carolina years ago, installing an alarm in a doctor’s home in the historical district in downtown New Bern. The regulations are very strict and homeowners can’t even paint until they get the color approved from the historical society. Well my brother and I were installing a wireless alarm in this home, it’s a 3 story house and my brother was in the 1st floor closet mounting the panel and I was on the 3rd floor mounting a smoke detector. It had been a particularly bad day and we were both at a breaking point. Well, all of a sudden I hear him holler “help me, help me, Jerry, help me, oh lord help me” I starting running down the stairs and probably missed an entire flight of stairs trying to get to him. Got to the 1st floor and he’s laying in the closet, rolling around laughing so hard he’s crying. we laughed for hours and every time things started going wrong one of us would holler “help me, oh lord, help me” and it would take the tension out of the situation.
  7. Not sure if I could foresee anything ever getting that bad.
  8. Happy thanksgiving everyone
  9. I’d love to see how that setup is done
  10. I need to do this. Mines getting to be a rather large family I’m afraid. Lol
  11. That’s great news. Prayers continuing.
  12. Prayers sent. My wife was burned as a child and she’s 58. It’s a long road. We will keep him and the rest of the family in our prayers.
  13. I got the third one. These pictures don’t do your work justice. It’s absolutely beautiful.
