  1. Cool, but would be too slow.
  2. It is a bit of a mystery from what I was told, but folks have their theories.
  3. My kiddo joined a steel challenge team and we need a rimfire rifle. We already have a 15-22 but they are banned from the league. I have never been a fan of the 10/22 design (heresy, I know) so I am curious of what other good options there are out there. Right now I am eying the Tippmann lineup or maybe even just an AR conversion kit. Thoughts?

    Range Day

Too far from Antioch, otherwise I would be on board
  5. That is a sweet setup. Where did you get those green brackets for making the rebar stand?
  6. Let's see those back yard shooting ranges! I need some inspiration for my recently cleared out woods. Any issues to look out for? If you are shooting steel, where did you get it?
  7. My kid joined a steel challenge team so I have been on the 10/22 learning curve and checking out some different makers. I have never owned one and never cared much for the design.. but the league doe not allow the S&W 15-22s which is what we have now.
  8. I have the Larue MBT2S and the Geissele SSAE. Larue wins on value but the Geissele is a better trigger. Geissele is on sale right now for $123 (minus 10% if you sign up for their text alerts). It is well worth the extra 30 bucks or so compared to Larue https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/gun-parts-magazines/rifle-parts/rifle-triggers/geissele-super-semi-automatic-enhanced-ar15ar10-two-stage-rifle-trigger/p/1628399
  9. Smoking deal. Thank you for posting this! Love the SSAE
  10. The accusation is that he is running a commercial range which seems like a tough case to make in my opinion
  11. Not sure what the Holosun goes for, but saw some eotech exps2 models on sale recently for about 500. Either should work nicely
  12. After comparing many side by side, I landed on the green dot. I would recommend you go check some out and compare. Different strokes for different folks
  13. Welcome Scott. I have probably seen you around town. I actually passed a similar jeep on 68 last week and thought, "Cool!" Have fun adding some Free State guns to that collection
  14. My typical process. Excitement -> Justification -> Purchase -> Buyers Remorse -> Sale -> Regret Selling There are many guns I regret selling. I say keep it.
  15. https://battlehawkarmory.com/product/sig716l-tread-7.62-16-bk-201 $1213 for a SIG 716i. I would call that a steal.
  16. Is that the one that takes Glock mags? Different
  17. Battlehawk Armory has trade in Gen 5 Glock 17's for $349. No sales tax and I got a tracking number in about an hour: LINK
  18. I would like to get my kids involved in a shooting team / league in East TN. I am in Blount county, but can travel. So far, I have not been able to find any. Does anybody know of one? Thanks!
  19. Looks like a lot of fun. Are there any pin shoots in TN?
  20. Bump for a great deal
  21. Free Bump. Looks like a great deal!
  22. Glad to hear no malfunctions, but 20 rounds total? May be too early to tell for sure. Hope you got a good one
  23. Edit: Disregard. I see th OP now
  24. Not sure what the question is, but polytech and arsenal both make nice milled AKs
