Yeah like most opinions I have heard so many “options” or he said this, my guys says this. Just wanted to ponder this question to fellow shooters in our great state of Tennessee. Odd that you hear so many different avenues. I would NOT be comfortable with a barrel from another gun with its serial number as the only identifying marks. Seems to me you would have at least 2 guns with the same serial number that way. I trust the source so I’m good with the purchase just wanted to check and what others were or are doing with similar situations. I myself have put together a P80 and really fell in love with it. But my Glock 32 is still my EDC because of comfort.

Ok fellers. I’m basically a newborn when it comes to the p80/80% stuff. I wanted to buy one from a trusted source. The only thing that has me leery is he has never installed a serial number. I know I could put one on there and claim to have made it myself but does anyone know the correct way to purchase a used p80 or an 80% build? Any ideas or advice? I am not asking for legal advice just opinions.

I COMPLETELY agree with your thought process on the new carry stuff. Of course the advocates still recommend TO get a permit. Maybe more of a self preservation suggestion than anything. That being said, having a permit DOES allow other to have comfort that your at least legally able to own a gun. I can see both buyer and seller POV! Also I like the little pistol! People sleep on the 380 sometimes but it’s a nice little round and if that is the only thing you have then it is the very best chance! Good luck with sale and purchase!!

New IWB Holster. Leather and Kydex. Holds gun really well and secure. I cannot get comfortable with ANY IWB holster. Used only for 30 min around the house. Purchased locally at Gun shop. Brand new AlienGear shapeshift modular holster set up. This is the “core carry pack” will come with everything a new one will. Basically 4 holsters in one. You can set it up for IWB, Appendix, OWB belt and OWB paddle. Also includes mount for car dash, bed side table, etc. They make a great product but for whatever reason I cannot carry IWB. This is the 5th holster I have bought and cannot use. I paid 110 and 8.95 to ship. Looking to get 100.00. I will accept reasonable offers. Not trying to get rich just stop the bleeding only.
