Damn!!! I’m a curio/relic! -
I’ve bought guns for thinner reasons.

Odds are I won’t burn up in a house fire, but that doesn’t stop me from installing smoke alarms and having fire extinguishers scattered about the house. You do you. Just something to think about.

Only the good die young. -
God feeds me as well as protects me. He gave me the ability to go get food, however. He doesn’t simply lay it on the table every day. Just something to ponder.

I think buying both would be the correct answer. This IS a gun forum after all.

I think originally, the 45 Colt wasn’t chambered in lever rifles because the old balloon head cases couldn’t hold up to the extractor in the rifles. At least that’s what I’ve read. Anyway, that is no longer a problem with modern brass. The 30-30 is a high power rifle cartridge, and is superior in performance to most any revolver cartridge. Depending on what you expect of the rifle, you may not need all that power. It is neat to have a revolver and rifle that shoot the same cartridge. Cool thing is that if you decide you don’t like it, they sell like hotcakes. Both cartridges are expensive, at least to a cheapskate like me. I reload, so cost isn’t as big a factor as it would be if you were buying factory ammo.

I like Vrabel, but can’t understand how he keeps his head off the chopping block cm.

Good news is alway welcome here. I’m thankful you got some.

I had the pleasure of meeting Darby and Kasey. I didn’t know Kasey had passed. I’ve not got to meet Rosie yet. Looks like you’re taking good care of her.

New Non-profit seeking input

Invite him here if he truly wants to know what we think. Color me skeptical, but I have my doubts. -
Looks like he ought to be smoking a pipe. My wife was the same. She thought people were crazy to let a dog in the house. I brought our lab home one morning and left for the day. When I came back home, she was sitting on the couch and the dog laying beside her. He trained my wife quickly.

This ole boy has been gone several years now. My wife had a hard time with it. She’s still not ready to get another one. I’m not sure she ever will be. He was a once in a lifetime friend.

Somehow it seems to be ingrained into the human psyche that it’s so k for me to do whatever, but not for others. -

Well, that’s what you get if you type his name in this forum. This was the first thing I’ve seen in a while that brought him to mind. Last I remember of him, he was sitting on Gallatin Pike in Hendersonville, stopped in his car trying to get rear ended at a flashing red light. -
The LCP IS the ultimate carry pistol. I will not fault you for that, sir.

Thanks for not getting angry. It was only a joke. Glad you could see that.

I've carried one for years. Though, technically, the 380 ACP fires a 9mm projectile, I was asking about 9mm Parabellum chambered handguns.
-
Do you shoot it blindfolded?

Did Voldermort relocate to Memphis? I thought he’d been pretty quiet around here for a while now. -
Bucks chasing does during muzzleloader season here. Saw a buck chasing a doe yesterday evening. I think it’s slowing a bit.
