  1. Say he doesn't crack right away. Say they need to continue the interrogation. They aren't going to use any of this in the trial so it is ok if they have to hold and question him incommunicado without access to an attorney for a day, right? What about a week? What about a month? A year? Five years? How long until we are violating his civil rights? No matter how much it pains us, he is a US citizen and needs to be treated as such.    They are setting precedents here that will apply to all of us. So when they decide that some of us who value our natural rights and civil liberties are the real enemies, what happens with this shitbag, will happen again to you.

  3. I may hold an unpopular position here, but here it is. He is a US citizen and needs to be treated as such. That includes being afforded all the rights and protections thy citizenship brings with it. Remember all of the "what if" discussions over the nasty provisions for declaring citizens apprehended on US soil as an enemy combatant thus denying them their constitutionally guaranteed rights? Remember the worry about DHS letters calling folks like us possible terrorists? Anything they do to this guy, they can do to you or I. I want my pound of flesh as much anyone else, but I want it done the right way. We must ensure that in our search for justice today that we do not lay the foundation for injustice tomorrow.
  4. Agreed. This is the best possible outcome at this point in the game. In fact, I would posit that although he is in custody, the investigation has only just begun in earnest.
  5. Wait, can you hear that? It is the sound of nobody giving a crap. So a rich Fudd got mad and quit the NRA, meh.
  6. Now seeing reports that one suspect is dead.
  7. Suspect names overheard on scanner. Mike Mulugeta and Sunil Tripathi. Reddit actually had named Tripathi earlier in the day as a Brown University student that had gone missing, looks like he has been found. Well almost. He is still loose as of right now.
  8. No, it isn't a gun. I'm just happy to see you.

    AR 15 Trigger

Before you buy a new trigger, get one of Dolomite's trigger kits and some JP springs. See how you like that.
  10. It was always my impression that the Senate was there to represent the interests of the states and to stand as a bulwark against the whims of the masses on behalf of the Constitution. Of course I could be wrong about that.
  11. On a complete tangent, I don't understand why that is illegal. If I don't own anything else, I own myself, if I want to profit from its use, why shouldn't I? I can engage in medical testing and be compensated for that. What is the difference in accepting money to ingest an experimental chemical and cutting off a chunk and selling it for profit?
  12. I only have one 5.56 AR right now, so I will be building another.    Two is one, one is none.
  13. Today is "Patriot's Day" in MA.    I'll be honest, my first thought was to question if this is real or if it was a false flag.

  15. Yeah, I think they might be getting the idea that they really screwed the pooch big time on this one.
  16. I have an AR built on a Memphis, TN produced lower.
  17. Depending in time frame, I'd likely be in for one.
  18. Doesn't have to tuck anymore since the operation.
  19. I generally prefer happy endings, but this one will do. ;)
  20. Has a University of Florida Gators tattoo in a certain place and asks his SO if she wants some loving by suggesting some "gator wrasslin".
  21. The reason for the 17th was that it was a common occurrence for state legislatures to be unable to come to agreement on whom to choose as Senator leaving the post vacant for extended periods of time. The 17th remedied this problem by changing the selection of Senators to direct election. The problem is that the law of unintended consequences bit the states in the ass by removing from them their voice in the federal government. This set down the fertile soil for the overtaking of the federal government by the socialists and statists in both parties that control it today. The 17th was very much like a shot to the Republic's lung with a .22. While not instantly fatal, it is a mortal wound when left untreated resulting in a slow and painful death as the nation drowns in its own lifeblood (the accumulation of money and power in places it doesn't belong).
