It's always easy to question the moderator, but she deserves the criticism she's going to get on siding with Obama and curtailing the debate on Benghazi. She may ultimately do the President more harm than good, though as this gives an opening to talk about what really happened. They only allowed Hillary to take ownership of it this morning, and that's after dodging questions for two weeks. Offended? The American people should be offended.

It didn't seem like it. If you had asked me right after I would have said Romney talked for longer than the President. That alone probably indicates a stronger performance. It might have seemed that way, though because the cameras seemed to position Romney in front of the clock a lot more.

If there's one thing I care about, it's that. Government at its very core is incapable of creating value. Period. I want a president that understands that.

"The government does not create jobs. The government does not create jobs" Despite all the stuff I've said about Romney being a mediocre candidate, he just earned my vote.

Finally a foreign policy question.

It's hard for the democrats to have honest debate about Iran because of the growing thought amongst liberals and which is prevalent at Foggy Bottom that it is only a matter of time until Iran gets a nuke, so we should just accept it. The thought goes along the lines of, "we normalized relations with the Soviets, Chinese, Indians and Pakistanis after they got nukes. Why can't we do the same with Iran?" This is clearly a dangerous thought, and makes the assumption ayatollahs are rational actors. There's a second thought that I'm hearing a lot of out of academia right now as well that assumes that if America can have nuclear weapons, then anyone else should be entitled to them as well It's a dangerous world we live in. God may have created all men equal, but it's foolish to assume every man has your best interests at heart.

I'm with Mike. I don't honestly see how anyone who watched the debate last night could come away thinking, "man, I'm sure glad Joe Biden is one heartbeat away from the presidency." I just don't get it.

Yeah, everything I see seems to indicate that Obama is doubling down and is going to come across as a condescending narcissist in the next debate as well. I do enjoy how the left is suddenly rallying behind Joe Biden. Seems a bit of a stretch to pin your debate hopes on him. I think Ryan is going to eat him alive.

I've been thinking about the role of money in the election over the last couple of days. Mind you, she was an anarchist, but for some reason it seems relevant to this discussion. Thoughts?
