  1. I bought the versa max in august and I really like it. I bought the model with all of the extra chokes and the adjustable systems but you will he happy with the one Walmart sells. All the same features without the extra stuff. Just a tuff workhorse. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  2. I can't believe you drink natural light. Other than that good job on the stove. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  3. I use box.com. If its on the Internet someone out there can see it. It's all about accepting the risk.
  4. I was stopped for speeding last spring and after I handed the officer my license and permit he asked me if I had a weapon on me. I said yes it is on my right hip. He asked me to hand him the weapon, which did aggravate me even though it is within law for him to do so. I asked why because I really don't feel safe handing anyone my loaded weapon. His response was that it would make him feel safer. Well at that point I didn't figure I need to push the issue anymore so I handed him my weapon ( I did happen to have a smart remark that it was loaded so be careful). He comes back a few minutes later, gives me my unloaded gun and say nice piece by the way. I guess i can't say a lot because it was in his legal duty to do so but if I told you I had a weapon in the car do you actually think you are safer by taking it away from me? I mean how many people that shoot cops hand them their permit then say I have a loaded weapon? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  5. ^They were 19.97 here before everything went crazy.
  6. I have the Maxpedition Condor and it is great size. Not to big and not to small.
  7. I second what MacGyver said. I have one with the Raven Concealment Phantom Holster and that is the most solid platform I can find. The belt is the stiffest I have ever wore. I have a good leather belt that I got from DM Bullard and it is a great belt, but after wearing the Ares Gear Ranger belt the leather belt doesn't hold a candle to it. Don't worry about having to take the buckle off. It took me all of a couple of hours to figure it out and now I am about to get it on and off just as fast as any belt I own. I will swear by this belt till the day I die.
  8. Upper and a lower for me please.
  9. I did it for a year but had to go back to TV. I watch way to many sports not to have TV. I just switched to direct TV and got all of the cool stuff free. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  10. Got one bird. Going to try again in the morning. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  11. I've got rocky top going wide open in my office this morning     Thankfully my better half loves football as much as I do.

    I Pad help

I second drop box. I use it daily and it will sync with your computers files so all you have to do is save the file and its on drop box. I would just go with 16gb WiFi ready. You can pick them up at Walmart. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  13. That's good info to have. The one I ordered comes with 5 chokes so I only need to pick up a turkey choke and a skeet choke.
  14. I went to the local Walmart here in Greeneville to buy a shotgun the other day and they told me that it was going to be 24 hour wait because of some terrorist red flag policy that the government was under. I told him that was bull crap and that I would just buy it somewhere else. Now that didn't hurt his feelings, but its the principal of the matter. If you are going to delay my transaction don't give me some lame excuse, man up and tell me why you are doing it. Luckily for me I went right down the road and got a better deal on a upgraded shotgun and got it order in a timely manner. I would rather wait three days because someone had to order a gun than wait a day because your store is lazy and wants to give out crap excuses.
  15. That's awesome. I can handle a drive to Knoxville for a safe but Nashville was a little far. I will be looking to pick one up sometime this fall, I will check your all's store out.
  16. That's great to hear. I hope to do some real world testing with it over the next couple of months. See how many rounds it will go through without a cleaning. I treat my guns good but always want to know if they will run in the worst conditions. Everyone has a Benelli and I know they are damn fine guns but I have always been a Remington guy and this gun fit the bill.
  17. Just placed a order for one of these at my local gun store. Hoping it will be in by Friday. Hopefully I can get some pictures up and a quick review after the weekend. I bought this one for general hunting use and may try a swing at the local skeet range.      Any one have one of these guns that wants to tell me their experiences with it? From everything I've read after the initial recall they have ran great.
  18. Yeah I figured it out last night. I tell you what that setup is rock solid! I saw your reviews on it a while back and finally bit the bullet and I am so glad I did. I am running a full size M&P which isn't the heaviest gun but it makes it really nice to carry around. I can't wait until this weekend to carry it around all day. The draw from this holster is so nice and with the stiffness of the ranger belt it is rock solid and comes out so nice.    For anyone else wanting the stiffest belt out there look at the Ares Gear Ranger Belt.    For anyone else wanting the best kydex holster on the market look at the Raven Concealment Phantom Holster.   And for anyone wanting the best holster/best system try both!
  19. How did you all get them to work? I can't get the metal part through the loop. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  20. If so what size belt loops work for that. I have the belt and just got the holster and just realized that the standard belt loops don't work. Will the 1.75" belt loops work or do I need to look at some of there other belt loops?
  21. I love my XDS. Surprisingly little recoil for such a little package in 45. I love the slim design. I can hide the thing easy with a crossbreed. She won't be disappointed in it. Now I will say this I would try to find one in 45 to shoot before you bought her one. The reason being is because I have let a couple of women shoot mine and after a magazine they didn't want to shoot it again. It's really not that bad but it does kick a little. Mine has been very reliable but the slide is pretty stiff. It is hard to rack a big 45 with a gun that small. You have to put some force behind it.
  22. I really like Maryville and we have a bunch of properties down there. I will remember to open carry the next time I am down there!
  23. What kind of bike would be good for a beginner riding mostly concrete bike trails? Don't want to drop serious money until I figure out if I am going to like it. I'm about 6' 3 and 280. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  24. I saw a video where Costa talked about his ideas behind those guns. I thought they were pretty cool but wow not that cool.
