  1. Understood. Just saying I guess that there is no 'best" anymore. Even with used vehicles it's a crap shoot anymore.
  2. I have a brand new Tundra and personally don't get it. Considering going back to a RAM. Drives better, rides better, better fit/finish, 3 recalls already on my new "the best" truck . Toyota isn't what it once was.
  3. I would just go to autotrader.com and go under advanced search. Select trucks and long bed only option and see what is out there. You will get an idea of what you can get in the price range you are looking. I saw some 2012-2016 F250's with 8' beds for around 35k. They have about 100k on them, but for a Diesel that isn't bad. I didn't look deep, but there may be some 1/2 tons with longer beds as well.
  4. Natural Selection. I just have a hard time feeling bad for these people. I guess I am a bad person. Glad that at least no one else was hurt.
  5. I personally haven’t heard anythinga about the machines themselves but personally am at the point I’m not supporting anything I can from China.
  6. I am a Kyle Busch fan which I know many are not, but he is as close to Earnhart as we have had since Tony. I don't really dislike anyone, but also like Harvick, Logano, and Hamlin.
  7. Watching it as well. I don't watch them all, but do have the guys I root for.
  8. If they are rusty, Evapo-Rust is great. You literally just drop them in the container and let them sit for a little while. Just check them periodically to see how it is going. It will discolor them a bit, but it will literally dissolve the rust down to the good metal. Just rinse them off after and spray them with something like wd-40 and wipe them off.
  9. When you do drive them, go over some curbs, etc at a decent rate of speed to get a feel for the suspension. Not super fast of course, but not just slowly crawling up it either. Just driving them on the road isn't going to show much difference.
  10. The Polaris Ranger is pretty well the standard for what you outline. The Ranger 570 will probably do anything you want. I would test drive one and then compare some others to it. The Honda Pioneer uses a different type of transmission, but I prefer the Polaris in this case even though it is a CVT. For me, the suspension of the Ranger is just better. I can't speak to all of the others, but drive them all. I think they are all pretty decent, but there will be some little things you may like better on each. As cost is a factor, just keep the engine size down to the smaller options. They won't be as fast, but they will go just about anywhere the others will. I bought my Waverunner from Tommy's Motorsports. It wasn't the one in Crossville, but they were good to deal with. I would give them a try since they seem to carry most of them.
  11. I don’t identify anything other than someone with an opinion. Certainly not a conservative as you would define it.
  12. Luckily no conservative gun owners are also affected. Magic bullets? and let’s not forget Blacks, Hispanics, white’s, Asians and anyone other ethnic group. Should be we discuss percentages of who may hurt you per racial capita to be fair? Some may not like this, but stereotypes exist for a reason.
  13. Hate to say it, but until I could read it with my own eyes, I don't believe anything anyone says about it.
  14. Yeah, my bad. Although, we probably disagree on the DA being worried about criminals.
  15. When that grand jury is from New York City I am not sure this benefit of the doubt applies. Had it been in a conservative area, maybe, but I suspect it's also very reasonable to expect a NYC grand jury to be just as anti Trump as the DA.
  16. I guess I will be the bad guy and say what most won't or don't want to admit. There is a monetary value for a life. I am not saying I know what it is, but this idea of it doesn't matter what it costs if it just saves one life is ludicrous. I realize each parent will say there is no value on thier childs life and I can understand the emotional aspect of that view and wouldn't expect anything less, but from a purely monetary point of view, we place a value on everthing including life every day. We can talk about life being fair or unfair based on the size of your pocketbook. Again like it or not, it's the way it is and is always going to be. We don't live in a fairly tale. Life is tough for most and there are tragedies that happen to people at all economic, social, and religous levels every single day. So, it is about the money. It always is and always will be.
  17. So shouldn’t those parents get back any taxes they paid? Why not if so? And I despise when people say someone doesn’t “need” the money. Who are you or anyone else to decide? They may work 3 jobs so they can send their kids there. Need has nothing to do with it. Again, provide equal money to every kid and let the parents decide. That is fair, no? Heck, we spend (waste) more money per kid than just about any other nation on school. The fair share should be more than enough for any kid to find a good education if their parents gave a damn.
  18. I would argue we need 100% choice of schools through a direct value per student from the government. You get $x towards school and you decide which one to go to. Every school can then be required by law to have an SRO. If you want to send your kid to private school, you pay the difference. Win/win. I personally don’t like the idea of online only and would never do it ( although I don’t have kids). They need socializing and should learn how to deal with other people. We don’t need one more way to isolate kids from others and let them think that is normal. (Referring to Greg’s idea, not the quote). At the end of the day, it should be up to the parents of each kid.
  19. I grew up about 30 minutes from there and have good family friends that were nurses at that facility. My mom and grandmother both worked at the Manteno State Hospital for years and I have many stories on some of the doctors and patients at these locations. Some good, some bad, but the facilities were quite interesting if you ever had the chance to go in them (which I did). The Manteno State Hospital is now a Veterans home and many small business, but every time I go out there when visiting I think back to those days.
  20. I think the post above yours was just to show that he has Daniel ignored. Why would your avatar be a problem? If someone is that thin skinned, maybe it should be allowed to bother them. We may not agree on much, but I also believe in agree to disagree when necessary. You do you. As long as things don't get personal I don't see any issue personally.
  21. I believe she knew exactly what she was doing and did it consciously.
  22. This “girl” was anything but mentally ill. She was blinded by hate and acted on it because well, there are people out there including many of our politicians and news media who will until their dying breath tell her and those like her that she was the victim. The same goes for the extremists on the other side. It’s here to stay. Buckle up.
